"Drew Drew Drew you gotta help me!"
I sighed and turned round to look at Ash.
"What now?" I said. Probably some nonsense about pikachu stealing his year's supply of ketchup or something. Man that guy is dense.
"Valentine's day is TOMORROW and I haven't got the faintest idea what to give Misty!"
Man. That reminded me. I hadn't the faintest idea what to give May either. Finally Ash had said something that wasn't stupid.
"Well, what does she like?"
"Dunno."
I facepalmed. Just like Ash to be so dense. I knew this was too good to be true.
"Well then what do you like?"
"pokemon?"
"WHAT POKEMON DOES SHE LIKE?!?!?!" I yelled impatiently.
"Uh... Water types..."
I slapped my forehead. HOW IS HE SO SLOW?!?! I yelled in my mind.
"But she loves tentacruels... And once she mentioned wanting to have a vaporeon..."
"Then go get her one then!"
"Oh yeah! thanks Drew!"
Man I was glad to get over with that. But still, I couldn't help wondering what i'd get for May...
[timeskip to the next day]
I was walking toward May's house, hoping to find some cute new pokemon for her on the way. I didn't. I was almost at her house, when I saw her coming, her blue eyes sparkling. I knew what she was expecting.
"Hey June."
"It's May! And hi, GRASS-HEAD." Though she smiled. My nervousness increased, if that was possible. She's going to be crushed when she sees I don't have a present for her...
"What's up, Grasshead?" May asked, looking worried. "Drew?"
I looked up.
"Nothing," I lied. "Except..."
"Except what? Oh you know what, let's just get this over with." May said. "Drew, I've got something to tell you..."
Oh man. Here it comes. She's going to tell me she's dating another guy.
"I really like you, Drew."
Wow. That just happened. That was...Unexpected to say the least. But I had an idea.
"Well. I actually have something to say, February."
"Go on, Grasshead." she smiled again. How is she that cute when she smiles?
"I really like you too." I said, and leaned forward. Before I know it, her lips are touching mine, and we were kissing. I didn't care, even if it was in the middle of the street. All i cared was that it was the two of us. I don't know how long we stood there kissing. I wanted to stay this way forever- but somehow we managed to broke apart.
May giggled. "Happy Valentine's Day, February."
"This is the best valentine's day present ever, grasshead." she whispered. "Happy valentine's day too, my valentine."
