Chapter 13 - Brotherly Love

Aura's P.O.V.

"Mirage.... I-I--I can't believe your alive!" I practically squealed as I knelt down and hugged him. I haven't seen this guy for years, maybe eons! But what was he doing here? On Velocitron? "It's good to see you too dear sister." replied Mirage as he carefully hugged me back, still suffering from his injuries. "Oh I just love a family reunion." said Ransack. "Hey don't ruin the moment!" Eve stated. "I'll let you two family members catch up on old times before settling the deal." said Ransack.

I looked up confused at his statement as he and Shockwave began to lead the room, while the guards moved in on the three of us. "Hold it." I said. Ransack turned around and gave a signal to the guards to stop. He walked back to the edge of the platform and looked down at the Cybertronian Princess. "I won't even listen to this deal of yours, unless you allow my brother medical attention." I declared. "No doctors, no deal." Ransack thought about this for a moment. Thinking of the good and the bad in his mind. "Ransack now is not the time to--" said Shockwave. "Not now!" Interrupted Ransack. That was something you didn't see everyday. Someone, and by someone I mean a Decepticon, telling Shockwave to shut up.

"Burn...." muttered Eve. "Very well. I will allow him to receive medical attention in order for this to proceed." said Ransack. I placed Mirages arm around my neck and helped him up to his feet. The guards showed me the way to the medical bay while Eve quickly followed behind, not wanting to stay in the training room longer then she had to.

Avis's P.O.V.

Me and Dusksmite were in a private shuttle heading towards Velocitron. "Remind me again what the plan is?" I asked through the com-link. "It's simple. You and Dusksmite will sneak past the Velocitronian air and space border, once your in Dusksmite can do a fly by around its capital." explained Bumblebee.

"And your curtain Aura and Eve are being held captive there?" asked Dusksmite. "I'm positive. That's Ransacks home turf. He would want to keep Aura as close as possible, so this is where they'd be." replied Bumblebee.

Avis pressed a few buttons. "All set!"

"Excellent. Good luck you two." said Bumblebee. "Just give me or Eylon a call if there's any trouble."

"Got it." The ship lifted and sped off, Avis transforming into a femme looking similar to Ransack, only reversed colouring and build. "Say hello to Avalon."

"Hello Avalon." said Dusksmite. I laughed at the remark and refocused on the empty vastness of space. "Your a jokester are you?" I asked. "A little." he replied.

"Nice to see that. Makes me wonder exactly how serious your sire can be." She joked.

"Predaking told me I got that trait from my mother. I never really did get a chance to meet her." said Dusksmite. "Oh, I'm sorry to hear that." I replied. "How did the two if them meet?" "They were both experiments of Shockwave. He never really did mention her name." he answered.

"I heard about a femme that was half human once, but that's just me." "Interesting." replied Dusksmite. "I've never heard of such thing."

"I have." I told him. "It's how Elyon and I began. Human, well. Partially human. We had-... We have dark energon in our veins. It gives us our powers."

"Dark energon? Isn't that the anti-spark?" asked Dusksmite.

"Yeah. It is." I nodded. "Quite a story behind us."

"I'd like to hear it sometime." replied Dusksmite. I smiled at the Predacon as the ships navigation systems went off. "We're approaching th space border." As the ship flew towards it, holographic signs floated near it, displaying the different pay tolls, that whole deal.
