Chapter seven

Flash back

I Won't give up was playing in the background as we drove down a twisted road. Harry was passed out in the back, with his head on the window. Harmony was humming along with the song while I was looking outside of the car. It had started to rain really hard on our way down but harmony insisted we keep going and get to the house tonight. The visibility was close to nothing by now. All of a sudden we swerved into the other lane into on coming traffic. Harmony quickly turned the car but not before an 18 wheeler hit the side of her car. The car started rolling down a ditch before it came to a complete stop. Soon the car was up in flames. It was burning my skin. I tried calling out to harmony or Harry but I got no response. It seemed like an eternity before I heard sirens approach the burning car. I called out "HARRY. HARMONY. SOMEONE ANSWER ME PLEASE."
"Harper. Harper wake up." Some one yelled shaking me awake. I flinched away from their touch. I pulled my knees to my chest and let already fallen tears flow out. "Harper what's wrong?" I finally looked up and was meet by big blue eyes. Jackson. "Jackson," I said in a weak voice. I opened my arms as he embraced me with a warm strong hug. I moved my face into he crook of his neck and continued the let the tears fall. "Hey don't cry," he said pulling back and wiping a tear the had fallen. I looked deep into his eyes not breaking away from his clear blues eyes. He placed his hand on my face leaning in. I pulled away hoping he wasn't upset. "I'm ganna go start breakfast," he said getting up and walking out awkwardly. I got up and went to the bathroom. I brushed my hair and put on my glasses. I grabbed my laptop and hopped on my bed. I need a job so I looked at places around for one. After looking for a while I started to smell bacon cooking. I shut my laptop and ran downstairs. "BREAKF...," was all Jackson could say before I was in the kitchen grabbing food. "Okay then," he said grabbing a plate for his own. After getting some bacon, eggs, and pancakes I sat down at the breakfast bar to eat. Not long after Jackson joined me. We sat in silence but it wasn't an awkward silence. After finishing my food I took my plate over to the sink to wash. "I'm ganna go out to the mall wanna come?" Jackson asked setting his plate in the sink too. "Sure just let me get ready," I said running to my room. I quickly stripped of my pj's and hopped in the shower. Once I was done I wrapped a towel around my body and walked into my closet. After deciding what to wear I went back into the bathroom to do my hair. I blow dried it then brushed it out. After that I put little to no makeup on just a little mascara and Chapstick. Once I was done I got changed into some jeans, a military green shirt, and some brown sandals while adding a gold necklace. (Harper's outfit is at the top of the page) I grabbed my bag and phone before heading out of my room. I walked into the living room to find Jackson on his phone. "Ready to go?" I asked standing in front of him. "Took you long enough," he said with a smile. He got up and we walked to the door. "Do you want to take my car or yours?" I asked once we got to the parking garage. "Let's take mine," he said leading me to where his car was parked. He unlocked the doors before me and him both got in. He started the car and started driving to the mall. I looked out the window while he drove. All the could be heard was the faint sound of our breathing and the music in the background. Not long after we started driving we came to a stop. "We're here," he said shutting off the car. "Let's go in," I said getting out. Jackson lead us into the mall were lots of people were. We walked around for a bit till I got hungry. "Can we get some lunch?" I asked after a while. "Sure, I know this really good place that's close," he said grabbing my hand. Butterflies fluttered in my stomach when we touched. Soon we came to the restaurant. After we were seated we looked at the menus. "Hey Jackson," someone said walking up to our table. "Oh hey hunter," he said standing up and giving his a bro hug. (You know where guys do the weird hand shake then do somewhat of a hug) I looked up to see non other than hunter bless. "Hunter?"
