                                                                           Jackson's pov

"Harper please, let me in," I pleaded.

"I'm sorry jackson, but I'm too broken. Goodbye,"She said before it all went silent.

Something overtook me as I burst through the door and revealing a bloody Harper. I was frozen in panic as everything unfolded. Everything was in slow motion as I ran over to her. She was pale and cold. I quickly pulled my phone out and called 911.

"This is 911 what is your emergency?" A lady asked.

"My girlfriend is covered in cuts and they are bleeding profusely. I need an ambulance fast," I said panic dripping from my words.

"I will have one set to you right away," She said before I ended the call.

Not 15 minutes later sirens blasted down the street and stopping at the flat. I quickly grabbed Harper in my arms and ran out of our flat. I met the officers and paramedics half way down the stairs. They scooped her out of my arms and onto a stretcher. They put breathing mask on before making their way down the stairs and onto the street. I followed quickly behind not wanting to be away from her. They loaded her up into the back of the truck before speeding down the street. I followed close behind in my own car since I wasn't family I couldn't ride with her. As we pulled up to the hospital I parked and prayed to God she was going to be okay. I sprinted out of my car and across the parking lot before meeting up with the stretcher. The wheeled her into the hospital and on into surgery.

"Sir I'm gonna have to ask you to wait out her," A woman in her late 20's said directing me to the waiting room.

"Ma'am you don't understand that's my girlfriend. I need to be with her," I said pleading her to let me stay.

"Young man please. Call some friends and family and tell them what happened. I will come and get you when she's out," The nurse said before walking off.

I walked slowly to the chairs and sat down. I pulled out my phone and decided to call Brittany and Ashton to tell them what happened.

"Hey Jackson. What's up?" Brittany asked as she answered the phone.

"Hey Britt. Umm Harper's in the hospital again," I said with sorrow and pain clear in my tone.

"Oh my god what happened?" She asked worry taking over her voice.

"She had been cutting and this time was the final straw. She cut two vital blood vessels and needs a blood transplant. She's in surgery now," I said rubbing my hand over my face.

"We'll be there as soon as we can," She said before hanging up the phone.

I called Jay, Elle, Brian, and Collin to tell them what happened. They all said that they would come as soon as possible. After I was done I decided to go do something I hadn't down in a while. I got up from my chair and walked out of the hospital. I got in my car and started it before driving off. I left my phone number with the front desk so that when Harper come out of surgery I could come back. After a while of driving I finally pulled up to an old dirt road I hadn't been on in such a long time. I drove for awhile more before coming upon an old house. I parked my car and walked up the gravel drive. I slowly opened the front door before being flooded with old memories. I walked into the abandoned living room and knew this held the best and worst of my childhood. The time spent with my grandad and grandma. The few times spent playing with my sister on the floor. The many Christmases with the tree and all the amazing presents. There was also the bad memories when my mom and dad would fight. The drunken night I would find my dad passed out on the couch. I moved on into the kitchen where most of my memories are. My mom would be cooking dinner and I would be right there helping alongside her. The one time of year we always made the best cookies. All of a sudden my phone went off in the pocket of my jeans.

"Hello," I said as I answered it call.

"Mr. Reed. She's awake."
