Jackson's pov
It had been about two weeks since I agreed to help Hunter with his plan. I had taken Harper to the beating room where he beat her half to death before making me carier her back. I would set her down on the ground and bandage up her wounds. I had been second guessing my choice but it was too late to go back.
"Jackson it's time for her beating," Hunter said pulling me from my thoughts.
I slowly got up and walked to her room. I took out my keys and unlocked the door. Once it was fully opened I could see an exhausted and scared Harper. I had loved this girl once before my selfish choices broke that. I walked in and determined to get her out of this hell hole.
"Harper wake up," I whispered shaking her awake.
"Stay away from me," Harper said on a shaky voice.
"I'm gonna get you out," I said picking up her limp body.
"Jackson never mind about the beating bring her into room x," Hunter said walking by the opened door.
"Why are you doing this?" She asked as we walked down the hallway.
"Because I love you and I protect what I love," I said not looking down at her.
Once we got into the room I set her down in a chair and tied her up loosely.
"Now Harper can you explain what happened that night in the car?" Hunter asked walking into the room.
"I already told you. I didn't try and kill Harmony. I would have loved you to be her husband," She cried as he grabbed her arm tightly.
"Tell me the truth. WHY DID YOU KILL THEM?" He yelled making Harper cry even more.
"I LOVED MY SIBLINGS. I WOULD NEVER KILL THEM. IT WASN'T MY FAULT," She yelled shaking from all of the cring.
"Jackson take her back to her room. I'm done with her," He said in a low voice sending shivers down my spine.
I untied her then picked her up before walking away.
"I'll come in and check on you later tonight," I said laying her down on her bed.
"Jackson wait," Harper said grabbing my hand.
"I love you," she said in a sweet voice.
"I love you too," I said leaning down and kissed her.
After we parted I left the room and walked to mine. I shut the door and flopped down on the bed.
"Hey Jackson do you know where Harper's room is?" Kevin asked walking into my room.
"Umm just down the hall," I said looking down at my phone.
"Okay thanks," He said turning to walk out.
"Why does Hunter need her for something?" I asked knowing that Kevin shouldn't need Harper.
"No I just want to talk to her. Keep this between you and me but I think she's pretty hot if you know what I me," He said making the blood boil in my body.
"Kevin she has a boyfriend," I said, trying to keep calm.
"Well she'll just have to love me or I'll tell boss she tried to run off," He smirked.
"Kevin don't you dare," I warned getting off my bed and walking over to him.
"Try me," He said before darting down the hall, me on his tail.
We ran neck and neck down the hallway taking sharp turns to get to her room.
"Jackson. Kevin where are you running off to so fast?" Hunter asked as we came face to face with him.
"Oh umm I was just," I stuttered trying to come up with a lie.
"Well we have another arrival and I need some help getting the beat room cleaned up," He said making my eyes get large like saucers.
"How many girls do you have?" I asked shocked.
"Jackson I make a living off of this. People pay me to get revenge and that's what I do. I have about 20 girls here now," He said making me draw in a sharp breath.
"I'm gonna go check on Harper," I said before walking off down the hall to her door.
I unlocked the door as fast as I could before running in and locking it behind me.
"Harper we need to get out of here now," I whispered throwing back the covers.
"Wait why. I thought we were gonna leave later tonight?" she asked sitting up.
"Hunter makes a living off of torturing girls and he's got like 20 here now," I rushed out, not wanting to waste time.
"Wait what. He has more girls here?" She asked jumping off the bed.
"Yes so let's go now," I said grabbing her extra clothes
"No. I want to get the other girls too," she said making me turn around.
"Are you crazy. We'd get killed," I yelled.
"I don't care. I want the other girls out too," Harper said crossing her arms over her chest.
"Okay fine. We'll come up with a plan," I said sighing.
