My Ride With Destiny

Chapter 12

I woke up to Tristan violently shaking me as I once again had fallen on his shoulder. I jerked awake and looked around- where the hell are we? I said to myself then it hit me- school. And I have to put up with a whole day of this cute couple crap. first period I had with both of them- wonderful. Great just great.

"Ugg." I whined as I stood up and headed down the aisle followed by tristen Tristan and 'them'.

"Heheh." Tristan chuckled

"It's not funny!" I smacked him lightly and kept walking

He smiled and followed me to. School

"What was the ugg for anyway?" he asked

"I have first with BOTH of them." I remarked emphasizing the both.

"Oh." he tried not to laugh but he knew better not to.

"Yah." "go ahead. laugh.." I said obviously not impressed and he burst into complete hell crazy laughter.

"Oh haha." I joked around

"It is though.. you see...." he said between gulps of air

"Whatever" I said and continued to my locker as he continued down to his. 3 down from mine.

I took my time getting to first because I sit right next to destiny. I slumped in my seat and ashley came over.

"What wrong girl?" she said

"Uggg." I groaned making her confused

She cocked her head sideways-

"Them." I nodded my head In destiny and Devon's direction and she knew what I meant. I'd text her later and explain more.

"Yah." I fake smiled and took attention to the front of the room where the teacher was teaching

"Now class." she said and destiny rang out

"Teacher!!!!"

"Yes.. ms. ratigan?"

"Can I be excused?"

"Why ms.ratigan?"

"Because I have to go to the bathroom!!!!" she wailed out

"Ok. fine ms.ratigan- just be back by 8:20" which was in 5 min.

"Yah." she said out loud but as she stood up she marked under her breath "5 minutes in your dreams." and walked briskly out of the room and turned the corner and stood there, I watched her from my seat. she was waiting for something, or someone.

Not to much later Devon pulled the same excuse and got away with it. I directed my attention to the hall and pulled my eyes quickly away after I saw the face sucking going on out there. I felt sorry for anyone who was to witness this. I made a discusted face to myself and shuddered and watched the teacher for the rest of the lesson. thank god second period came when it did! I still had it with Devon but it was better than anything... no not really.

"Surprise!!" the teacher, Mrs. Quartz, squealed as we walked in her room. "we are making posters today!!"

I groaned along with the whole class. just dear god let there not be partners!

"And surprise two!" "I picked your partners for you!!" another chorus of groans from the class. she rambled off names and the people left were me, Devon, Nathan, and Tom.

"Nathan and Tom. Devon and emily." she ran out in her cheery voice that seamed to kill me. I never wanted to hear those words again, or at all anyways. I slowly, ever so slightly turned my eyes in his direction and he was beat red. obviously embarrassed at everything he's done, good. I thought to just ignore him as much as possible and make comments on everything he talks about. we were assigned 'triangles' and were to do everything the class had learned on triangles last year since we haven't learned about them yet this year. he walked over here and the first words out of his lipstick stained mouth was

"I'm so sorry." and turned red again and started to tear up

"Well. then if you are, then why'd you do it? You know this would hurt me!" I said as quite as possible because I could've screamed it at him

"I don't know! Just forgive me please! I wanna be your friend again!!"

"I don't know. that will be very hard to do.. very" again I could have screamed it at him but much less louder than the first time. I still whispered.

"Well. ill give you all the time you need to do so because, truthfully Emily, I love you still and I would never be the same without you."

"You know what? We need to do math" quickly moving from the current subject To our work.

"Oh yah, that's right." he sighed and rubbed his head and said- "know what?"

"What?" I crossed my arms just to add fuel to the fire

"Ill do this all because I already know you don't wanna be right here right now."

"Ok fine- but I better get a good grade." I cautioned truthfully not caring about the grade

"Ok settled."

"Yah whatever.." I wish the clock would go faster.

'DING DING DING' the bell rang thankfully.

I enjoyed third with none of them. fourth again with none of them. fifth with them, sixth with neither, seventh with Devon, eight with none of them and enjoyed a relaxing bus ride home with tristan. I couldn't wait for thanksgiving break only in 4 days.

AYE READERS!! Sorry for the wait I was busy with vacation and homework and crap like that, but I'm back! I also had an idea to a possible sequel to this book and another book about a kidnapped girl- title still in thought- book publishing still in thought. so uh yah- tell me what you think of all that and I hoped you enjoyed your long waited update!!
