Chapter 23

*Jakes POV*

I just stared at Sunny's neck. C'mon- what the hell?! like seriously? I smacked my forehead and stomped the ground. Sunny flicked his head up and down. I said to him

"Hey boy." I stroked his nose.

He flicked his head back and forth and turned around. He started to walk away so I called to him.

"Sunny! come back!!"

He stopped walking and turned his head back towards me and jake. And flicked it as to say 'follow me'. Me and jake shrugged and followed Sunny. He took us up the trail and to the trail leading out? but why? he looked at us one more time and stepped aside. We both gasped! it was Emily!! I ran to her and have my sister a big hug even though I could see she was passed out. I said to jake

"Jake. We found her! we actually found her!!!" I skipped in circles.

I yelled out as loud as I could.

"WE FOUND HER! COME ONE COME ALL I FOUND HER!! GO TO THE BROOKE AND DOWN THE PATH TO THE VALLEY!! HURRY!! CALL AN AMBULANCE. EMILY'S FOUND!!!!!!"

And I ran and hugged jake. He bent down and stroked Emily's cheek. I stared at him as he pulled a picture out of his pocket, kissed it and out it in Emily's hand.

"What's that for?" I asked him

"I had this picture to know what she looked like and I'm giving it back."

"Oh" I smiled

We stood in silence for a minute and jake said to me

"Can you keep a secret?"

"Yes. What is it?" I asked very curious

"I really really really like Emily."

"Like as a friend?" I questioned in awe

"No. Like as more- much much more."

"That's fucken awesome." I said to be jokingly

"Jeez. I'm serious."

"I know I know.. that's cool though. Like maybe we could be brother in laws someday!!"

"Yah."

We sat for a while until my dad finally found us. he smiled and we kinda woke her up and helped her walk to the ambulance. I took Sunny home and me and jake met them at the hospital. She was put in room 322 her favorite number. When we walked in, everybody else was walking out. Emily was wide awake now and was in the hospital just to monitor for the night. A news crew had come in earlier in the day to do an interview on Em. She was so glad to be home. I walked in and spoke.

"Hey sis." I said smiling and sitting on the edge of her bed.

"Hey bray." She said also smiling.

"How you feeling?" I asked her

"Good. Much better."

"I have somebody who would like to meet you."

"Who?" she asked.

"Jake, get yo ass in here boy."

And he walked in and everything went silent. They stared at each other for what seemed like eternity. Then finally Emily said

"Why hello."

"Hello." jake said with his accent

Emily whispered to me "is this real?!!" she silently squealed.

"Ya. He really likes you to."

Her face lite up as bright as the lightbulb in her room. She patted the spot on the bed next I her. I explained how jake and we had the same classes together and that he was brand new to our district. He also told me that he lived just 10 minutes away from our house. I left for a while to find the bathroom and when I came back I couldn't believe what I was seeing.

*jakes POV*

Brandon said he was going to the bathroom. Finally- some time to get to know Emily. We hit it off almost perfectly. We shared almost everything in common. We talked for a good 10 minutes learning about each-other. It was silent for a while but then she whispered to me.

"Bray told me you really like me.. is that true?" she said her face blushing

"Yah. It is. Your really beautiful." She blushed some more.

"Well that's good that you like me because.." she paused.

"Because what?" I asked

"Because I like you a lot to."

She entwined her fingers threw mine and leaned in closer to me. We sat like this for a good 5 minutes. I happened to look over to her. Her perfect hair and blue eyes. Her lips.. oh her lips. I needed them. I leaned in and she met me half way. It turned into a make out session that was interrupted by Brandon walking in saying

"Woah. That escalated quickly!!"

We both snapped in his direction.

Aye readers. So a longer update this time? good or bad? it's nearing the end BUT I'm gonna have a sequel based off the last chapter where ---------. You'll have to wait. It's gonna be good tho. A lot is released and the secrets are spilling out. Hmm I'd say around possibly 3-5 chaps left.. maybe some more.. Anyway I've got the title picked out already and everything so get ready.
