My Ride With Destiny

Chapter 24

*Emily's POV*

When jake walked into the room- I immediately knew I knew him from somewhere. But I couldn't remember. Then it hit me; he was the man that I had thought about all the time. The man I could be been best friends with. We stared at each-other as if saying 'where have you been all my life?'. I patted the bed next to me and when Brandon went to the bathroom we started talking. I leaned his name was jake Greene. We hit it off and eventually were making out. That is until Brandon walked in.

We both flushed pink and blushed like nothing could stop it. Bray laughed. God way to ruin it baby bro.

"What the hell?" he asked between laughs.

"Get out." Jake said scratching his head

"I'd be glad to. See ya later I'm going to McDonald's. want anything?"

"No" me and jake both replied.

"Just don't forget I bring me home today ok?" said jake

"Yah yah." Brandon shook his hand at jake and left the room.

"Now." Jake said stroking my cheek "where were we?"

We kissed again and then sat in silence for a while. Then jake cleared his throat and softly said.

"I have a question."

"Sure. Shoot for it." I said calmly

"What are you doing on this Saturday?" he rubbed the back of his head

"Nothing you?" I smiled up to him.

"Oh really?" he asked "then how would you like to go see a movie with me and have dinner?" he asked more confident.

"I would love that."

"Great." He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my temple and we sat there until Brandon came back for jake and went for home.

*Jakes POV*

I climbed into my Red F150 and sped down the road. I turned the radio on and 1D's 'Story of My Life' I hummed along and thought of my old school in California. God I missed Ike and Zach. Aug. hmm I should give them a call sometime. Well not tonight because everybody- including Emily- has school tomorrow on this lovely Thursday. 2 days away from

Saturday. I couldn't wait for Saturday because if everything goes right I'm gonna- I was interrupted from my thoughts by Brandon's words.

"So what happened with you two?" he asked

"Oh I got a date for Saturday." I smirked.

"Really now did ya?" he asked amazed.

"Ya why so amazed?"

"Because Ems story with her 2 previous ones."

"What? tell me."

He explained the story about the break in and destiny and all and how that destiny and her are now friends again and her and Devon are somewhat again.

"Oh." I nodded

It was silent the rest of the way home. We decided to get to school late so we could pick up Emily at 11:30. I climbed into bed at around 10:00 thinking about Ems stories. Gosh that's hard. I fell asleep dreaming about my hopefully happening future.

Aye readers. So a shorter chapter tonight but at least it's an update right? so was it good or bad? probably not one tomorrow but we will shoot for the weekend. The next chapter will be all on Saturday and picking Emily up so get ready.
