*Brandon's POV*

Dad let me go on the rescue team today. No school due to Emily's missing. Everybody from school was here and I was searching for her with this new kid in her grade, Jake Greene. he had red blonde hair and green eyes and dimples. same height as Em about, skinny and buff. strong to. we talked as we walked in the woods

"So your her brother I hear?" he talked with his slight accent Emily would die for.

"Yea." I exclaimed. I nodded as well thinking of Emily

"I'm sorry. I hope we find her." he sulked. He had seen a picture if her and lit up the moment he layed eyes on it. I could tell we were in for some romancing here.

"Yah. Me to" I said sadly coming out of my daydream.

We walked on and my phone buzzed. I picked it up- from Emily?

*Emilys POV*

I sat down on the hut floor drying to figure out what to do. And then suddenly "bing Bing!!!" my phone? I dug it out of my

Pocket and frantically entered the passcode. I went to the 'sent' menu.. And there it was the answers to my prayers. My message to Brandon had sent! after what is it now 3 days? I screamed out in delight!! I sang a song of joy! I danced around in circles!! he was reading it and coming for me right now. Perfect!!

*Brandon's POV*

I flipped my phone open and came to a halt. Jake was talking. I wasnt listening. He noticed I had stopped and looked back and said in his accent

"Who's that?"

"This is my sister. she does have her phone with her. the message must've not gone threw because it says she sent this 3 days ago... the same day I sent her the one about james...."

"Who's james?" jake asked

"Never mind him.. come on!!"

We took off at a dead sprint, over the bridge, threw the woods and to the fork in the road. right to the brook. I had to stop- I had been running for at least a mile it felt like. Me and jake were panting out if breathe. I have a feeling we will be really good friends. I looked up and stopped everything I was doing... I hit jake to do the same. he looked up as well and got the message.. I couldn't believe it.
