I internally groaned when it was none other than Samuel Jones! Oh, great. Here he was trying to ruin my day with her.
"YO! Come get in the car! Let's do this shit together!" he shouted out from his window.
I rolled my eyes and walked to the car. Annora had already been seated behind with Avery, all comfortable. I gave Sam a look and got in.
"Didn't go to school?" I asked, annoyed.
"Nah. Mom said to skit school and help Annora with anything she needed." Sam replied with a smug face. "And Avery found out that she needed to complete notes and called to help."
I looked at Avery through the mirror and caught her completely immersed in whatever she was telling Nora.
"Nora?" I called out.
"Hmm?"
"Nothing..." I shook my head and smiled to myself.
I looked at her through the rear view mirror and saw that she was smiling with her head tilted a little, showing her confusion to my little craziness.
Sam was talking about something and I zoned out. Nothing was more interesting more than her smile, the way her eyes widened at whatever she was told, how she laughed by shaking her head. After sometime Avery was showing her these spots that we would usually hangout and she stared at them, resting her chin on her hands and looking out of the car. She looked so innocent.
"Dude?" Sam called me. "DUDE!"
"Huh.. What?" I asked, suddenly disturbed from my daze.
"Do you want to go to ESAE?" he asked.
"What about pizza?"
"I'll tell them to deliver it to the place." He looked at me. "You okay?"
"Yeah, just..." I sighed. I didn't know how to complete that sentence. Since she's been here, all I can think about was her; all I wanted to do was be with her.
"In love...!" Sam said, earning a light hit on his stomach from me.
"I'm not in love." I argued.
"Hahaha. RIGHT! We can see that" Avery said.
I looked down at my shoes.
"What about love?" Nora's head perked up to the conversation.
"You like Austin Mahone?" I asked.
She chuckled. She had a full blown smile on her face. I had made her smile! She fucking smiled because of me. WHAT!
"Um... no." she said, still smiling. "I was just making sure."
"Making sure of what?" I asked. I was now wondering why it was taking so long for us to reach ESAE.
"So, guys. I was wondering..." Avery chimed in. "My parents are going to be out of town for a while. And maybe we could all stay at my place?"
"Like give you company for three-four days?" Nora asked, surprised.
"Yeah... these dudes do that a lot. We have the most time at the time. The house is just a place for us to sleep in. We'll be out partying, eating, dancing, riding and all that." Avery explained.
"But, wouldn't you just choose to be with Sam at that time?" Nora asked completely unaware of what she meant.
I chuckled a little and glanced over at Sam. Was he...? Oh my god, he was blushing.
"Uh... Ann, we uh... can, usually hangout a lot. We like spending time together as a family... uhehe..." Sam stumbled for words.
"So?" I asked, filling Avery's unusual silence. "You in?"
"Definitely."
