The whole room was as bright as the sun. It was like standing right in front of the sun while being heat resistant.

After my eyes adjusted to the light, I saw that there were huge white walls and a huge ceiling painted in black. It was so strange; the whole thing was stranger due to a swirling staircase that ended on the top. I wondered how we could go upstairs. From outside, It looked like a huge building that should have at least had five floors.

"How..." I began to ask.

"It was built by my father for my mother." Olivia started to explain.

I looked at her. She had never talked about her family. Not even on Christmas did she ever mention them. I mean, a few times, yes. But it still hadn't been much.

"It looks so strange, doesn't it?" she asked me.

"Yeah it does." I answered quietly. "I thought it had more floors"

"It does"

"What do you mean...?" I was really confused right now.

Firstly, I had no idea why she had even taken me here. Second, was she going to brutally murder me? Thirdly, why was she talking to me?

"My mother loved mysteries. She used to read those books, she loved puzzles, created stories for me to solve." She said, recalling her childhood. "When my mother passed away, I was too young. The only memories I have is of her smile and some pictures. The rest are stories that I had heard from my grandmother while growing up"

"What about your father?" I asked, slowly.

"He was the only one earning for me right? So he had to move away to pick up a better job. Even though he hated being separated from me, he had made me grow up with no comprises in my life. The only think I didn't have was memories with him"

I nodded.

"Before my grandmother passed away, she had told me something." Olivia said, looking up at where the staircase ended.

"What was that?" I asked, curiosity enveloping each word. "What did she tell you?"

"She told me that my mother had died, giving birth to my sister"

"Where is your sister, then?" I asked.

-

I couldn't believe it. Olivia had a sister, her mother had died giving birth to.

This building wasn't just a building. Before we left, I glanced one last time at the building.

This was a beautiful building, not a strange one. It was built with mysteries enclosed in each brick. And the solution would lead to Olivia's lost sister.

This Area wasn't just a place where we hung out casually at.

It was home to Annora's childhood, Mason's relationship, Charlotte's whereabouts and Olivia's memories about her mother and her sister.
