"I am so excited! I can't believe I am going to meet your little sister." Nora clapped, with excitement.
I laughed a little and looked her. April had told me that she had already planned everything; she had made sure she'd given me a song that Nora loved and knew as well. I was so happy that she had helped me a lot. April was our guardian angel.
"Yeah" Sam said. "She is so spoilt by everyone"
"And it includes you too, Sammy" Avery remarked, smiling. "Everyone loves Sofia"
"She is so beautiful" Noah said, looking up from his phone. "Soph is adorable and cute and"
"Wonderful and sometimes a little jumpy" Liam completed.
"You don't have anything to talk about her, Olivia?" Annora asked, suddenly.
"She's never met my sister. Never had the chance to be honest." I said.
Olivia was the one who either got picked up or to who's house we used to hang out at. She never got to see my sister because either she's too busy, or Sofia is never around at home.
"But, I'm looking forward to it" Olivia said, smiling.
"Yeah" Noah said.
Then there was just awkward silence in the car.
"Can we just play some music or something?" Liam asked.
"Yeah" I said.
"Play something" Annora said.
"Who has a good music taste?" Noah looked around asking.
"Avery?" I asked out.
"Yeah?" she asked.
"Pass me Sam's phone, he has a good music taste"
"Ugh, idiot" she said.
"No!" Nora playfully hit her. "He's only my idiot; call him a jerk or stupid or something."
I looked like a pie had been thrown on my face. I pursed my lips and did a fake smile.
Noah chuckled a bit, so did Olivia.
I looked at April who smiled sheepishly and shrugged. Through the rear-view mirror I looked at Noah and Olivia, who were looking at each other.
"Just smile, you guys!" I said.
"Yeah, it's not like..." Avery began. "It wouldn't break your cheekbones or anything"
"You both really need to solve your issues." Liam said. "We are one squad, no fights inside us."
We all nodded agreeing to him.
"That is on point, Liam." April remarked. "There should be no fight inside us, which will ruin our whole reputation"
"It's not only about reputation, it's about friendship too" I said
"Yes, true that" Liam said.
"Solve your problems kids" Avery said out loud, with Sam chuckling a bit near her.
"We aren't kids" Olivia and Noah spoke together.
Of course you guys aren't.
