I hear muffled voices all around me, but I can't open my eyes. I try to open them, but I don't have the strength. I try to move, but it feels like weights are tying me down. I breath at a steady rate, but realize I'm not doing it. I freeze as I slip into a flash back.
* * *
"Is she ready" a man says and looks over me. I am strapped down to a stretcher in what looks like a medical room.
"Yes she is" says another voice. "She has to be or else she was a waste of our time".
"Okay I will start her on some pain m-
"No she does not need those yet" I feel my arms go numb. A cold voice whispers in my ear. "You are going to be what your parents worked on their whole life". I scream as something is injected into my blood stream.

I regain consciousness and sit strait up in panic. My arms are tied down, but only loosely so I break free. My heart is a racing horse, and I can't rain it in. I can't even take in my surroundings. I do the only thing I can think of, and what my instincts are urging me to do. I run. I go down two steps, but fall on the last one. I do a roll and jump to my feet running out the closest exit. I hear panic yelling, and close my eyes,
what is happening. I stumble, and fall to my knees. I curl up in ball and lie on the floor whimpering. I don't have the strength to keep going, and I can't fight back. I feel a strong and familiar pair of arms lift me up. I give up fighting and sob into them all my pain and grieves.

"She waking up again guys" I hear as my body starts to wake up. I ache everywhere and I feel different. My eyes flutter open and start to focus.
"Hey Juno" someone says and I turn towards the voice. Me eyes adjust and I see Barry sitting beside me.
"Barry" I say my voice hoarse from not talking for some time. I try to move but and firm hand is placed on my shoulders.
"You need to rest" a female voice says. I let out a sad laugh.
"I'm guessing that's Caitlin" I say and they laugh as well.
"How long was I out and what happened" I ask but my hands start to shake thinking of the possible answered.
"You've been out for five months"
