The next morning I am in a surprisingly good mood. At 9:00 I am dancing around the kitchen makes waffles for me and Natasha. I blast Sax by Fleur East as Natasha walks into to room. I slide a plate of waffles and black berry sauce across the bar as she sits down. She smiles as she watches me sing and dance around the kitchen.
"I don't think I have ever seen you this happy" she comments as I grab myself a plate of food.
"I'd like to say I've changed since the training days" I say and I sit down next to her. We eat in a comfortable silence and I get up to get changed. I put on a pair of high-waisted black pants with a slight flare at the bottom with a white tanks top tucked in and a black leather jacket. I walk out of my room pulling my hair into a bun.
"I will drop you off at STAR labs then drive to the CCPD. I have no clue what they will think of my but today I am dressed like I mean business" I say and grab my purse while slipping on form flats. Natasha grabs her stuff and follows me out to the garage. I walk over to the car I rarely use and open the drivers door. I put the keys in the ignition and pray it works. As I turn the keys the car rumbles to life and I back out onto the street.
I pull up to STAR labs and get out to show Natasha to the cortex. As I get through the doors of the lab there is a breeze and I'm in a bear hug. I hug Barry back and he kisses my cheek.
"I missed you" he says with his large grin. I smile as I continue to walk down the halls showing Natasha the way.
"Missed you too" I say as we all step into the elevator.
"So how's the CCPD?" I ask and Barry shrugs.
"Not bad, but not as good as when your there to keep everyone in line. They where pretty shocked my the news of HYDRA" he says as we reach the third floor. We walk out and I show Natasha to the cortex. Cisco is quick to greet her, I raise and eyebrow at him.
"I'll come back to work with you guys a little after 3, if everything goes well. If not maybe tomorrow" I say as I say a quick hi to Caitlin. I kiss Barry's cheek and start to walk out, but not before I turn around.
"Careful with her Cisco, she could kill you in her sleep" I say cheerfully with a teasing smile even though it's true.

I pull into a parking spot behind the CCPD. I take off my flats and put on my heels. I take a deep breath put on my reflective sunglasses and get out of the car. I walk with extra sass today knowing some people will doubt my loyalty to SHEILD. As I walk into the building mostly everyone stops to look. I let my face stay neutral as I walk past the everyone to the Captains office. I see that he's in there by him self and I walk in. He looks surprised to see me and also weary of me. I take off my sunglasses and slip them into my purse.
"Before you ask anything no I am not HYDRA, yes I did go to D. C to help fight and yes I will still be helping out around here" I say and sit down in a chair. The Captain looks at me and raises an eyebrow.
"How do I trust you" he asks and I sigh dramatically.
"How do I prove to you I don't work for a underground, corrupt, World War 2 killing organization?" I ask.
"Well you could tell me who you really are"
"Juno Elise Kestrel, former level 10 SHEILD agent and participant in the North American black widow program"
"Your a black widow?" He asks with raised eyebrows.
"Yes, one of the best"
"Prove it to me"
"Okay strangle me"
"Right now?"
"No in five years. Yes now!"
He hesitantly walks around his desk as I stand up. He puts his hands around my neck but barely puts any pressure. I roll my eyes.
"A five year old could escape your grip" I say sarcastically. He sighs and tightens his hands around my neck. I jump and bring my legs up in between his arms and wrap my legs around his neck. The then us my momentum to dive between his legs pulling him to the ground. I then jump up place my foot on his chest.
"Believe me?"

Throughout the day I go through the massive pile of reports on my desk. I groan as it seems the pile never ends. Whenever anyone walks past me they don't make we contact and hurry by.
At about 1pm I see Barry come up the stairs. He walks over and sits on the edge of me desk.
"How's a going?" Barry's asks and I groan.
"No one will talk to me" I say with frustration "They don't trust me or are afraid of me"
"I'm sure they will come around" Barry says and I roll my eyes. He goes to work in the lab and I'm left all alone...with 20 unread reports. I power through them and finish at 3. I quickly grab my stuff and walk by the lab. I peek in and see Barry talking with Patty. I walk in and Patty turns around. She looks hesitantly at me and I raise an eyebrow.
"You're lucky Barry believes you" she says and walks out. I roll my eyes for the hundredth time that day. I look to Barry who looks uncomfortable.
"What was she talking to you about?" I ask him.
"Ummm...nothing" Barry replies not at all convincing. I cross my arms.
"Barry Allen, I hope you know that I can tell your lying without even trying" I say and turn to leave fed up with everyone. Before I step out of the lab the door closes and Barry is in front of me.
"She told me to be careful around you, but she doesn't understand you" he says "she doesn't understand that you're like me and that I trust you more than anyone" he says and I uncross my arms.
"Fine" I say as Barry hugs me.
"Are you leaving now?"
"Yeah I finished reading all those reports"
"Do you want me to take you to STAR labs"
"I have the car why don't you come with me" I say as we walk down the stairs. I see Joe down stairs and he walks up to us.
"Hey can I talk to Barry for a sec?" Joe asks and I nod and leave to start to car. I wait in the car for a couple of minuets until Barry jogs up. I pull out and start on the way towards the lab.
"So what did Joe have to say" I ask as we stop at a red light.
"The Captain asked him about you" Barry says.
"Are you kidding me!" I say and slam my foot on the gas once the light turns green.
"Joe told him your trustworthy, but he's still a little skeptical" I shake my head as we approach STAR labs.
"Unbelievable" I say when I park the car. I slam the door shut and walk into the building. Once I get to the cortex and Natasha is teaching Cisco some defense move.
"Good luck with that Nat" I say remembering when I tired to teach Cisco. I throw my stuff on the ground and slump in a chair. Then the alarms go off.
