I scretched out in the bed beside Rico. We had been laying here ever since Evan and Lauren left. Not saying a word but just laying there next to eachother.

"You hungry?" I asked Rico as I stared at the painted walls.

"Yeah. What you trying to cook?"

"I dont know. I'll find out when I get to the store." I said as I rose up.

"You aint gotta cook nun heavy man."

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

"Alright but I gotta taste for some tacos."

"Aight."

"I'll call you when I get to the store." I said as I got up from the bed.

"You want me to come with you?"

"Nah. I got it." I responded putting on some shorts and shoes.

I grabbed my keys and headed down the hall and out the door.

I got in the car and drove to a 7|11 to get some gas. I pulled up to the pump and cut the car off, getting out and heading in the store.

I walked and got in line to pay for my gas. The line moved at a steady pace as I made it to the window and paid for a full tank of gas.

"Stacy Tanning.." I heard someone say from behind me and chuckle.

I grabbed my card from the cashier, putting it in my wallet before I turned around to see who called my name. I didnt recognize anyone so I kept walking to the exit. I went to my car and began pumping the gas, while I strolled through my phone.

Halfway into a full tank I hear a voice behind me.

"So thats how we do?"

I turned around, looking behind me.

"You gone act like you dont know me now. I was calling your name baby."

I rolled my eyes.

"Im not your baby O.G."

"Once mine, always mine. I thought you knew that."

I turned my back to him.

"Im talking to you girl."

"I dont have nothing to say to you Omar."

"Omar." He laughed. "Thats funny."

"Hilarious."

"Look Stace, we dont gotta carry on like this. Im not your enemy."

"Yeah right. The minute you sent your boys to shoot up my girl's house, we became enemies."

"Now I wouldnt do nothing like that."

"Really? The same fucker who was trying to kill me in the kitchen of my home, wouldnt partake in something like that. "

He laughed.

"Aight."

"See thats exactly why youre the enemy." I said as I heard the click of the gas pump. I took the nozzle from the car.

"You know Stacy, I wouldnt suggest that you become one of my targets. Id hate to do any harm to someone I love."

I ignored his cry for attention.

"Omar you cant love no damn body, when you dont even love yourself. And as for being your target? Do what you gotta do." I said as I twisted the gas cap back on.

"Im trying to end this before things get out of hand."

"Its too late for that."

"Listen.."

"No you listen Omar. Dont be coming over here trying to make peace out of beef that you started on your own. Youre mad cause I finally realized what Im worth. I finally realized that I deserve someone better than you. I dont want your ass nomore! Damn! what part of that dont you get! Then you take it as far as fucking with my people? And I know your dumb ass brother was in on the shit too but I tell you what, yall do what yall gotta do. Cause a bitch aint scared of neither one of yall or your lil ass clique that you roll with. "

"You done?"

"Question is are you?"

He chuckled.

"Yeah keep laughing mutherfucker." I said as I walked to the driver side of my car, getting in and starting the engine.

"Youre going to regret that." He yelled to me.

"Yeah Yeah! Go fuck yourself! " I yelled back before I stuck my hand out the window giving him the middle finger before I sped off out of the parking lot.

I left the gas station and headed to the store calling Rico on speaker phone to tell him about what just happened.

"Now we know for sure it was O.G." I said to him.

"You right. Something told me to go with you."

"Im fine. I aint worried about Him or his brother."

"Yeah but its the fact that I wasnt there."

"I know but we finally know the truth."

"So what do we do?"

"I dont know. I dont know.. I gotta tell Lauren and Evan."

"Aight but you make sure you call me when you make it there and leave."

"Alright."

"Matter of fact, turn around and come get me."

"Now?"

"Yea. I'll be waiting."

"Alright. Im on my way."

I turned the car around and headed back to the house to get Rico.

I pulled up in the driveway and blew the horn.

Rico came out and locked the door behind him before heading to the car. He opened the door and got in.

It was a quarter to ten when we made it to the hotel where Lauren and Evan were staying. I parked the car and we both got out and went in, briskly walking to the elevator, pressing the fifth floor.

We found the room and knocked on the door. It took awhile before someone asked who is it.

"Its me Evan."

"Hold on."

He fiddled with somethings before the lock clicked and the door opened.

"Wassup?"

"Can we come in?" I asked.

"Naw lets just talk out here in the open." He said being sarcastic.

I pushed passed him.

"I thought yall were busy thats why I asked."

"We are." He said as he closed the door behind us.

"Where is Lauren?" I asked.

He knocked on the bathroom door.

When Lauren opened the door, I could tell they were busy alright, busy burning down in these folks bathroom. The smell of MaryJane slowly seeped from the bathroom before she closed the door.

"Wassup, what yall doing here?"

"I just ran into Omar."
