Catrina's pov
I walked out of my house saying my goodbyes to my parents and made my way to school. Since I lived quite close it was only a 10 minute walk and also I'd get to see my crush, ceylan jones. I walked in with my head down when someone screamed in my ear " HEY CATRINA!" A boy yelled. I shrieked, my ear ringing from the noise as I rubbed them and scowled at the boy. He smiled that smile he knew killed me inside, today was especially cold so I wasn't surprised he had his white hoodie and blue jacket on. The boy chuckled and I narrowed my eyes at him even more " ceylan! I thought I made it perfectly clear that I DONT I REPEAT DONT WANT TO BE CALLED CATRINA ITS JUST CAT!" I screamed at him. Ceylan fell laughing his head off, ok I guess it was a bit funny but still " that's not funny!" I screamed at him " it kinda is." Chooki chimed in, whipping a tear from his green eyes. I looked at him " butt out blondie!" I screamed at him, that just made ceylan laugh some more. Chooki put his hands up in defense as he looked pretty scared. The truth is I hated chooki, and he knew it and I had a gosh darn good reason to too. My best friend is dating him, so basically he stole my best friend, we still talk but it's not the same. The group finally managed to compose themselves and just in time for the warning bell to ring ( I don't know if there's a warning bell but there's one at my school and I didn't want you to be late ;))
* time skip*
I walked out of school with the boys following close behind, they seem kinda jumpy and a bit anxious " guren you ok?" You asked. Guren walked up to me and whispered in my ear " you're a girl, right?" He asked, I scowled and looked him in the eye " what's that supposed to mean?" I whispered/ yelled back. Guren came in closer " I need some advise." He whispered, I smirked " who's the lucky lady?" I whispered back " a girl, now will you help me or not?" He whispered back. I looked back at the others who seemed to be lost in their own conversation so they wouldn't notice or barge into our conversation..... I think. I looked back at guren and smiled " sure." Guren smiled " thanks cat, so what do I need to do?" He asked " well Guren how long have you known her?" I asked " well about.....uh maybe a few months or so?" He said, it kinda sounded more like a question than a statement. Oh well good enough for me, as long if it wasn't a day or so. " Guren, just be yourself, if she likes you for who you really are then she's a keeper, if she doesn't then she's the wrong person for you." I said, putting my hand on his shoulder. Guren smiled at me " I just don't know if that'll work." He said " Guren, it will, just be your sweet, caring, kind self ok?" I told him. Guren nodded " hey cat we gotta go." Guren said and the boys left into a strange looking shop, I just shrugged it off until I noticed my core brick was glowing.

Rosesdeada's pov
I landed on coreton ( did I spell that wrong? Sorry if I did) I watched as the battle already started " started with out me?" I say and jump out to join them. I was taking on Slygger with Bravenwolf while the rest of the team took on granox. " so rosesdeada I was uh wondering something.... Uh would you....uh would you possibly consider going out or on a date with me?" Bravenwolf asked " gee bravenwolf, uh well-" I was cut off by slygger who kept trying to get me but I kept dodging. I mange to get a good hit on him and he screamed in pain " rosesdeada please." Bravenwolf kept begging me " listen Bravenwolf knows not a good time and well I kinda-" I ducked and hit slygger causing him to run back to granox who also seemed hurt. Granox, slygger and the rest of the corrupted ended up running away, what cowards. Bravenwolf walked up to me " please rosesdeada." He said " b-Bravenwolf I'm sorry but I can't, I- I like someone else." I said running away. I've never been the crying runaway type but I felt bad for saying no, poor guy.
¥¥¥¥¥ The next day ¥¥¥¥¥
I walked up to the diner where I was told to meet the boys apparently I was quite late cause the boys were glaring at me. We talked and Guren kept looking sad while chooki and toxa kept trying to cheer him up. " what's wrong Guren?" I asked " he was rejected by the girl." Chooki said " oh, I'm sorry Guren, she probably wasn't the right girl for you anyway." I said putting my hand on his shoulder. Ceylan walked over to me and I froze up " hey cat, can I speak with you for a sec?" Ceylan asked, I nodded and followed him. We ended up just walking outside of the diner but nobody was around so it was ok. " so what do you want to say?" I asked " someone told me that you liked me." Ceylan said. My eyes widen.... The only person who I told was my best friend.... Val. Val must have told ceylan, but I told her after they broke up so I didn't break them up and plus Val was pretty happy. " Val told you?" I asked, ceylan nodded " she told me when I asked her why you were acting strange around me." Ceylan said, tracing the concrete with his shoe. I looked up at him " so do you uh do you like me back?" I asked him, hopefulness evident in my voice, ceylan gave me a sad look " I'm sorry cat but I like Guren." Ceylan said. I looked down at my shoes and brushed some of my short brown hair out of my face " I understand." I said looking anywhere but his gaze. When I looked back up ceylan was gone.
