Kodilyn's pov
I sat in my room, black as usual, I didn't choose to be blind but I guess the world had other plans. I looked up at my ceiling ( or at least where I thought it was) " what are you doing now?" I ask, a chuckle escaped from the boy sitting next to me " I'm just laying here, kodi." I could hear the smile in his voice, I giggled " do you wish you could hang out with someone else?" I asked, looking over where the bed shifted. " what do you mean?" He asked, I looked back up at the ceiling " I mean, I'm blind." I said ( way to state the obvious kodi) Ceylan snorted " yeah? And you're point is?" Ceylan asked, the bed shifting under his weight as he crossed his legs. I sat up " wouldn't you want to hang out with someone who- I don't know... Can see?" I asked. I could sense the happy atmosphere turn into a serious one " kodilyn, you being blind doesn't mean anything to me." Ceylan said, I could feel the bed move as he got up. I got up as well, nearly tripping as I placed my feet on the cold floor " are you sure? Doesn't it get-." I was cut off as a loud boom was heard. I felt my body shake, tears streaming down my face, whimpering, I slowly sunk to the floor " kodi?" Ceylan asked, he was concerned. Ceylan crouched down in front of me, his knees cracking " kodi, if you don't speak to me I can't help you." I placed my hands over my ears " make it stop!" I screamed as the booming became louder and more frequent, I felt strong arms wrap around my small form " shhh," Ceylan hushed " it's ok, it's just thunder." He brushed his hand through my black and purple hair " don't be scared of thunder~ it's nothing but a great big sound~ don't be scared of lighting~ it barely ever touches the ground." Ceylan sang. I giggled as he sang " what?" " I didn't know you sang." I playfully teased " I-it was a song my mom sang to me, ok!" Ceylan said, blushing. Ceylan's embrace tighten
"Kodi?"
" y-yeah?"
" I love you."
" huh!?"
" I love you, you beautiful angel."
" I- I love you too."
I hugged him back
" I'll always be here for you so, don't be scared."
I nodded, laying my head on his chest
And smiled
