Toxa 's pov
I fixed my tie as I walked into the school, since I didn't have a date I went with the guys, minus chooki who went to pick up Valerie and went off with her. I saw Karia dancing with that jerk Mich and I walked faster, guren and Ceylan trying to keep up with me " come on dude you shouldn't let this bother you that bad." Ceylan said, his hand resting on my shoulder " how can I not!? Look she's beautiful." I said swatting his hand away. " woah dude I was just saying." Ceylan said, putting his hands up in defense. I scoffed and shooed them off, I didn't need them, I laid my head in my hand and groaned " hey Toxa!" A familiar female voice said, I looked up to see.... Valerie " hey Valerie." I said grumpily " rough night huh? The small girl asked as she sat down across from me " what gave it away? " I asked sarcastically. Val rolled her eyes and looked over at Karia " you should go talk to her." Val said " I can't do that." Val looked at me " Toxa..." " don't you see how happy she is!?" I yelled, slamming my hands on the table. Val jumped and I saw chooki start to panic as he stood against the wall, all of a sudden the lights went off and a scrawny boy with neck length hair, red glasses, dark reddish brownish eyes, bangs long enough to cover up one of his eyes and sickly pale skin. Val's face lit up and she grabbed chooki's arm, Valerie and chooki won prom queen and king last year and the few years before then and her cousin, Christopher was announcing this year. I smiled as the couple ran up to the stage. " and this years prom queen and king is..." Christopher shakily grabbed the envelope and opened it " Karia song and Toxa dalton!" I watched as Val and chooki started clapping, she planned this I smiled and stuck my hands in my pockets, walking up the stairs as I smirked at Mich, his green eyes narrowed as he stared me down. Karia looked as beautiful as ever in her short pink dress and flats, Christopher came with the crowns and since he was pretty short for a boy I put mine on and put Karia's on her. Karia smiled and thanked me, the feminine looking boy ran off probably to go find his cousin. I looked into the crowd and waved at guren and Ceylan, I heard a giggle and looked at Karia, " care to dance, princess?" I asked, handing my hand to her, she giggled " of course, my prince." But before her hand touched mine

I looked up and saw two boys holding a bucket Mich's friends, Karia looked down at her dress and at Mich who was laughing his head off, tears streaming down her face as she ran off, I looked out into the crowd and growled at Mich's no good ugly face. The guys seemed panicked and the inukai siblings seemed scared, I lunged at Mich and started landing punches, Mich threw me off and started kicking me in the gut, then punching me in the eye that's gonna leave a bruise, Mich got thrown off of me and I ran off to find my girl.
Karia's pov
I can't believe this happened to me! I'm soaked! This was not how it was supposed to be, I can't believe I fell for the jerk! I'm so mad! I fell to the ground, clutching my knees to my chest... Why? Why did this have to happen? I should've gotten over my nerves and gone with Toxa.
Toxa's pov
I ran out of the school to find Karia crying, I walked over to her, she looked up at me and smiled " hey." I said, helping her up. Karia gasped as she looked at my black eye " oh my god! Toxa I'm so sorry!" She said, her hand caressing my cheek " you wanna know a way to make me feel better? I asked, she nodded " a kiss." She smiled and stood up on her tippy toes, soft lips with mine. Best day ever
