You were walking to school like you usually did on the weekdays except today wasn't any normal day... Today was Valentine's Day. You like the past valentines days had no date and knew it was gonna stay that way and you didn't want to deal with another day of the names, the shoving and the beatings. You put on your (F/C) headphones over your ears to block out the bullies who were usually waiting for you. Speaking of those bullies there they were Adelaide Stevens, Stephanie Rich and Rachel Jude ( do you get the pattern? From the names? No? Yes? Sorry I had too) each girl had smirks and of course they were those popular girls who of course had boyfriends and like usual you ignored their comments about you. You just walked right by them and they didn't like that. Stephanie grabbed your arm is and through you to the ground and the rest of the girls joined in, kicking you. Adelaide grabbed a handful of your hair and rapidly throw you head against the concrete, which you were sure you felt blood covering that side of your face. Your mom would usually take you to school cause you told her about the bullying but today, of all days , she had to go into work early so she couldn't take you. You walked on the steps to bus with your hood over your head. Some kids decided to yell and pick on you while you sat down so that's what they did. They pulled down your hood and took your headphones, they started pulling your hair, poking you with their pencils and flick your head. Lucky for you school wasn't that far away so they couldn't do it for long. When the bus came to a stop you went out as fast as you could, you walked through the doors and breathed a sigh of relief then immediately took it back cause here comes the names.

The whole hall stared daggers at you, calling you names as you walked by, but one group didn't. The 4 boys just we're talking, obviously oblivious about their surroundings. You caught the eye of a green haired boy who was the toxa dalton.... Your crush. He stared at you for a moment then when you looked back he blushed and went back to his conversation. You didn't understand why he did this does he like me? Could he like me? Shut up (Y/N) there's no way in h*** that boy would like someone like me oh well looks like the norm this year awesome! Ah sarcasm my one and only friend.

After classes you went to retrieve your bookbag from your locker. You did your code and grabbed your bag, putting in your text books and other needed items when someone closed your locker for you. You looked up only to be met with Adelaide and her group " what's up b*****, things never change do they? You're still ugly and dateless, makes sense no one would ever love you." Adelaide sneered. You mumbled curses under your breath and flinched the bag over your shoulders
" listen you b**** I don't have time for your crap and unlike you I have a life outside of school." You growled at her.
Adelaide laughed at this and so did the rest of her group
" the little piece of sh** thinks she has a life, listen sweet pea you don't have to pretend, we know what you have and what you don't so stop with the act." Stephanie said. You looked at her then walked away, you didn't want to deal with them now, you just wanted to go home and be safe and not have to deal with these jerks. Stephanie grabbed your wrist and threw you against the lockers welp so much for just leaving and being in the safety of my home " you think you're such a hot shot but it's all just an act." Stephanie said, pulling your (H/C) hair. You winced at the stinging pain, Stephanie had a good hold on your hair to keep your head from moving, she landed a hard punch right into your cheek and you knew you could feel blood. Stephanie moved and Adelaide kicked you in the gut which caused you to spit out the blood you had been holding in your mouth, the girls left and after a few more kicks and punches you were left on the floor in a ball and crying. You didn't really want anyone to see you cause you knew they would just give you another beating for being a crybaby. You went outside the nice fall breeze filling your senses, you decided that today was the day, you were gonna do it. You walked towards the bench in the school courtyard and took out your trusty pocket knife and you traced the lines that already surrounded your arms soon you felt the warm red liquid run down your arm and you smiled. You heard footsteps but you didn't bother looking to see who it was, you were busy trying to end your sorry excuse for a life at least that's how you saw it but he didn't. " Y/N)!" The green haired boy screamed, you froze and turned around looking at the boy " what are you doing to yourself!?" He screamed holding your bloody arm in his hands " don't you understand toxa? I deserve to die...besides no one would miss me." You said monotonously " no!" Toxa screamed, his grip on your arm tightened and you winced " you're a beautiful person (Y/N) and you can't die...I would miss you." Toxa said. You looked into his brown eyes, tears threatened to fall but you both fought strong " toxa-" you started to say but he cut you off. " I love you (Y/N) and I wanted you to be my valentine but I thought you wouldn't like a guy like me so I chickened out." Toxa said " toxa, I love you too... I always loved you." You said. Tears ran down your cheeks and you looked down, Toxa lifted you head by the chin with his fingers so you could face him and he did the unexpected. He kissed you... And you kissed back
You never knew that he was such a great kisser
