reader's pov
I was walking with a (F/C) umbrella at my side, I was told by my (mother/father) that it was gonna rain. (Mother/Father)didn't let me leave the house until I agreed to take it with me although I was only going to meet my best friend, beni. We were going to meet at a nearby cafe but I didn't see her anywhere, no I wasn't early cause I was most likely about 10 minutes late. I looked around and the pink hair female was no where to be found and the hope I had was gone. I liked beni no I love beni, she is my sunshine and I was wishing to confess to her. I had finally convinced myself to confess but after this I don't think ill do it.I was making my way to leave until I heard a name, not just any name.... my name. I turned around and saw a certain pink haired female running towards me
3rd person pov
" ( Y/N)!!" Beni yelled as she stopped to catch her breath, you tried to help her but she just stopped you and looked at you in a serious manner " beni what-?" you started to ask but the girl cut you off " I love you!" she confesses, her head down as you stared at her shocked. you had came here saying you were gonna confess to her but no Beni had beat you to it. " beni." you said as you looked at the girl " I understand if you don't feel the same way, I - I hope we can still be friends." Beni said, looking back up to you, you could see the tears in her eyes " Beni," you said, wrapping your arms around her " I came here to tell you that i loved you, but you beat me to it." you said, you felt Beni's body stiffen and then she let out a giggle and you laughed along with her. You both decided to go to the park where you two first met " I didn't know you felt that way about me." you stated, looking down at your intertwined hands, the pink haired female gave a little giggle and stared at you, you looked into her beautiful blue eyes " I didn't think you would feel the same." she smirked, you sweat dropped as you looked out into the sunset " I can't believe you beat me in confessing." you said. Beni looked at you, the wind blew through you (H/L) (H/C) hair, you (E/C) eyes reflected the yellow ball of light so perfectly as a small smile made its way to your features " aww little (boy/girl) loss (his/her) chance to be brave." Beni teased, you felt the heat rising to your cheeks as you tightened you grip on her hand, you smiled.
This was definitely something worth getting beat for.
