This is a story about Katniss and Peeta in the Hunger Games. It is a remix were they have always been in love, so it is not an act. (This is my first story so please be understanding guys!)
I'm 8 1/2 months along right now. We're on a train to the Capitol. My daughter should becoming any day now. It's now March 16. My due date is March 31. So I guess we'll see.
* in the capitol* I'm so bored. It hurts every time Willow kicks me. I want her out. It's now March 25. I have 6 more days. Ugh
*6 days. Due date*
Holy crap. Water is running down my leg. I fall into the couch and scream for Peeta. I didn't think she'd actually come on her due date!!!! I guess Willow is prompt like her daddy. Peeta rushes down the stairs and calls the medical man. An ambulance comes and I can see camera crews. I knew Snow would video this. I get onto the ambulance and we're off. When we get to the hospital, I'm immediately taken to a room. Snow is making me take the option of no meds for this birth. I saw Madge give birth and I scared me. I'm terrified. I lie on the bed with Peeta sitting next to me. There are cameras everywhere.
* at 5 dilation *
I feel like I'm dying. I'm only half way there and I haven't even had to push yet.
*10!!*
"Okay Katniss your at 10, when I say push, push okay? It'll take about 20 pushes to get your baby out." Urla tells me. Urla is my midwife for all my births snow has planned. Yes, I will be having more kids, I've been informed of that. "PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH PUSH!!" I scream. This happens 4 times. Then I hear cries. Her cries. Willow's cries. They wash her off, and do all the natural baby things. Then I get to see her. She is beautiful. I know what love feels like, but the only other person I love this much is Peeta. I cry on her soft face. "Sorry mommy is just very happy." I look over at Peeta. He has tears of joy streaming down his face. He gets in the bed with me and holds me. Then it hits me. Peeta and I are parents.
