"You're going where?" May asked me, pulling a lock of hair behind her and up into the pony tail she was forming.
"Daniel is going to help me learn to drive the boat," I said, shrugging my shoulders.
"Samantha, you don't need to learn. The boat literally came with a guy to drive it for us. We should've just sold it," she grumbled, yanking a hair tie around her hair.
"I fired that guy," I said, finishing my own hair.
May pinched the bridge of her nose, and sighed.
"Saman-"
"No, May, just let me have this. You have your smarts and your looks and your youth. Just let me have this," I spoke, putting my hand out to stop her.
She simply nodded, and left the bathroom.

"So, this is the wheel," Daniel said, placing his hand on the metal wheel that sat inside some sort of control room.
"I can see that," I giggled.
The yacht was a lot nicer once you were on board. There was an outside deck with a pool, and a front deck that had a sitting area. The room inside was spacious. It contained two bedrooms, a kitchen and another sitting area.
The boat also had a "balcony" of some type. It was a small upper deck on top of the control room that had a metal railing around it.
Although the the stairwell going down to the lower deck was cramped, the room really opened up once you got to the bottom. The stairs ended in the sitting room. A large semi-circular couch was up against a similarly shaped wall. There was another long bench off to one side. Then, in another corner, sat a small kitchenette with a dining table.
If you ventured towards the front of the boat, you found a bathroom and one bedroom. It was the smaller of the two, containing one twin bed.
The bedroom and bathroom in the back were larger. It had a master bed and a large shower.
"It feels like I'm in a hotel," I squealed, jumping onto the bed. I could feel the waves sloshing the boat around, so I let out a loud sigh.
"What?" Daniel asked me, standing at the foot of the bed.
"I need to get used to the water," I laughed. His laughter joined in with mine and soon we were back up in the control room.
Daniel spent all afternoon teaching me to drive the boat and maneuver it in and out of the small harbor I had it parked at. We had docked the boat and headed to a small taco shop for some lunch, when my phone chimed.
I opened it up to find a text message from an unknown number. I opened the text to see pictures of what I realized to be Nick Sanduvol frolicking around in my boat like he owned it. The pictures were captioned: "Nice boat. Can't wait to buy it."
Fuming, I stood up and tossed my unfinished food in the trash.
"What's wrong?" Daniel asked, following me as I stormed out of the taco shop.
I ignored Daniel's questions, practically sprinting to the harbor. When I arrived, I spotted stupid Mr. Sandals talking to a man while standing outside of my boat.
I marched right up to him, jabbing my finger into the air in his direction, and I opened my mouth to speak.
"Ah! Miss Rogers, there you are! I was just discussing with this gentleman that you plan to sell this boat to me," Nick grinned.
"Wait, Samantha, I just spent all day teaching you how to drive it," Daniel said, clearly sounding upset.
I changed from angry to confused in a matter of seconds. I turned to Daniel to explain when Mr. Sanduvol spoke up.
