Epilogue

Three Years Later

"Alright guys! Come on!" Nick shouted into the house. Three small children, acting as one tornado, bumped about the living room. They followed the sound of Nick's voice, heading out the back door in a wrestling group. I followed them out along with Conner, his girlfriend, and May. There was a sheet thrown against the back wall, pulled tight. 

A projector was showing the title scene for Disney's Tangled. Conner's two children a boy and a girl, sat down on the blankets laid out on the grass. 

"Mommy!" a small voice spoke to me. I leaned down, a smile on my face. I picked up my two year old son, twirling him around. 

"Wow Sammy, you're as heavy as a brick!" I exclaimed, laughing as he laughed along with me. "You're growing so fast!"

"Come on guys, start the movie!" May complained, sitting down beside Conner's twins. They climbed all over her, giggling and swatting at one another. 

Nick smiled at me. He had sacrificed his normal suit and tie for a short sleeved button-down and a pair of shorts. He looked like a normal father, something I would be forever grateful for. We had decided that Sanduvol Co. could be run by other people. Nick was still the owner, but little Samuel was in too much danger if Nick was directly running everything. 

Nick started the movie and came to snuggle up next to me. His hand reached around my shoulders and he leaned in close to whisper in my ear. 

"You know, after this movie we can give Samuel over to your sister for the night, go home, and have some fun." 

I slapped his arm, causing Conner and his girlfriend, Hailey, to turn their heads. I offered them a shy smile, and they focused back on the movie. Nick just chuckled under his breath beside me. 

"I love you, Samantha," Nick whispered, placing a kiss on the shell of my ear. 

"I love you too," I giggled.
