The emergency vehicles hovered around the plane in a matter of minutes filling the humid air with the shrilling sounds of sirens and turning the area into ordered chaos. Many of the passengers were escorted off the plane as quickly as possible just in case problems arose quickly.
Fin was no exception; he was rushed from the plane losing sight of Hans in the process. Firemen covered him in a fire retardant blanket and whisked him into the small terminal. From there he was placed in a small room with a few other passengers who looked scared and tired.
"What are they gonna do with us now?" A small woman with a stained filled dressed asked to no one in particular.
Fin looked over at her and smiled, "I wouldn't worry too much. They probably just want to ask us some questions. All you have to do is tell them what you saw and everything will be fine."
"What a way to begin your honeymoon." Another woman who was hugging a big beefy man said.
Fin smiled at the woman, "Congratulations. Just think of it this way, at least you'll have something to tell your kids later on. Just be glad you're alive, I've seen what these things can do and we're very lucky."
"You've seen those creatures before?" The same woman asked.
"You could say that." He shrugged.
The man suddenly opened his eyes and stared at Fin with anger. "So you're the one that brought all this upon us."
Fin was shocked, "I beg your pardon?"
The beefy man stood up quickly, his hair plastered to his forehead with sweat. "So what you're telling us is that they were after you? YOU BROUGHT THEM HERE!" He screamed.
Fin had to back up feeling the fury of the man emanate from every pore of his rough exterior. "I... I... It wasn't me." He begged.
As the man rushed forward someone stepped in front of the crazed man and blocked Fin's view. "You will not harm the child!' yelled a man with and accent.
Fin maneuvered himself from behind the man and stared into the crazed eyes of the beefy man.
"This child has nothing to do with this occurrence. You are jumping to conclusions, please back up and sit down."
"HOW DO YOU KNOW, HE SEEMS TO KNOW A LOT ABOUT THEM." He screamed, spittle falling in spurts from his large lips.
Hans Grunger stepped forward an angry expression crossing his face, the other man saw that look and immediately changed his tune. "You have no proof, all you are doing right now is scaring people for no reason. So please SIT DOWN!" Hans pushed the point cross by getting into the man's face.
Feeling humiliated the man sat back down beside his bride, she put her arm around him and the both of them looked back at Hans with trepidation.
"It's good to see you again Hans," Fin said warmly.
"My friend I'm extremely pleased to see you as well. Where would Miss Simeneon be? Is she waiting here for you?" He asked eagerly.
"Sorry but she's somewhere else."
"I'm sorry I wanted to see her again. Is she on another search?" He moved Fin across the room away from the probing eyes of the other passengers.
"We both are, I'm here to find another artifact that will show us the way to the next one." He looked over at the other people staring at them from across the room. "Why are you here, I thought you were going home?"
Hans sighed, "My country is a mess right now and if I was caught I would be considered a deserter. I would not be doing my family any good then, so I decided to travel around and see the world until the war is over."
