The storm began to brew ever so stronger as the rain ceased to end. At times there were breaks in the precipitation but that did not last long as within a few minutes the heavy ended clouds began dropping large quantities again. The air was thick with screaming and shouting from the battle waging along the beach. The swells from the ocean crashed into the shore melting the sounds together into one eerily haunting experience.

Fin looked over his shoulder and stared at the battle that was raging on the shore. The throngs of mutant ghosts had made it to the beach and were waging a furious campaign with the tormented crew of the Eternal Destiny. The metallic swords glittered like fireflies in the lightning-streaked sky. He turned to face Rowell and with a nod of his head he dove into the turbulent sea.

The eerie silence that followed changed his feelings of reluctance to downright fear. He could see the ghostly image of the ship floating above the surface of the water and the cool depths of this underwater world made him shiver.

Making a beeline straight for the charred hulk of the ancient ship, he grabbed hold of the nearest panel and tried his best to look inside. The darkness was immense. If he were going to look inside he would need a light, something that was waterproof and burnt brightly, yet that would be a feat in a half.

He took one last look around and swam hard again for the surface to replenish his air supply. He broke the surface into the blaring wind and seas.

"I NEED SOME SORT OF LIGHT TO LOOK INSIDE!!" He screamed to Rowel over the noise.

Rowell just seemed to stare at him until he put a finger in the air and turned his back. Fin tread water for what seemed ages trying his best to stay above the waves that were crashing all around them until Rowel turned to him with a huge smiling spreading across his soaked filled face.

Perched in his left hand he held high a long stick. Fin had no idea what he was showing him and at this point, he really didn't care, all he wanted at this time was to find his way into the hull of the ship and find the treasure chest before something bad happened, again.

Rowell flicked his hand and all of a sudden the brightest red light he had ever seen erupted into the darkened sky. Fin tried to hide his eyes from the brightness but he knew he would have to adjust to it. Rowell gave the stick a toss and it landed with a hiss in the water.

Fin dove under the water and swam quickly to the stick before it sank to the bottom. About half way down from the surface he grabbed it with his right hand and pulled it in front of him.

He almost screamed.

In front of him, a wooden gargoyle from the hull of the Eternal Destiny stared back at him. He slightly remembered the creature being fixed to the side of the ship and it was then he wished hadn't.

Stealing his gaze away from the hideous face he swam away to the bottom of the cove and towards the opening he had seen earlier. Pulling himself to the side by means of the broken planks he reached his destination much easier than he anticipated. Once at the side he pulled himself towards the opening and looked in.

Something rubbed against his back and tore off his backpack.

Fin spun around as fast as he could to catch the last of a huge tail fin swimming away.

'SHARKS!!' He shrieked in his head.

He knew he'd have to get inside quickly; there was no knowing how many of the creatures there were swimming around the outside of the ship. Something told him it was the vessel's internal security. Someone did not want him inside.
