[grayson]
I reluctantly walked down the hallway and knocked on Kate's bedroom door.
"It's Gray." I said.
No answer.
I walked into her room. She was sitting on her bed looking at her phone. It looked like she had been crying. Her eyes were red and slightly puffy.
"Do you have anything that you would like to tell me?" She asked calmly.
"Kate, I'm so, so, so sorry. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. I must have clicked the add to story button instead of the save button." I said.
She looked back down at her phone.
"What are you looking at?" I asked her walking over to her bed.
"Just all the hate comments that I'm getting, that you're getting, that Ethan is getting." She said giving me the death glare.
I could tell that it was taking all of her not to flip out on me. She can't hide her feelings well at all.
"I can't tell you how sorry I am. You know I wouldn't purposely do that to you, right?" I asked while kneeling next to her bed.
She didn't respond. She just kept looking through all of the comments.
"I deleted the video." I said.
"You deleted that video, but can you delete all these?!" She asked raising her voice.
I stood up and back away.
"I didn't want anyone to know about me. I didn't want the attention. Now you understand why I didn't. Because of all this." She said standing up and walking towards me.
"If you had just let me tell them about you in the first place, then this wouldn't be happening." I said raising my voice too.
"If you hadn't let social media take over your entire life then none of this would have happened. You could have a normal life. You wouldn't be moving back and forth from California to New Jersey every few weeks. Maybe, just maybe you would have a chance to spend a day like a normal sixteen year old rather than depending on social media for your life. You put your fans before everything. Sometimes I even think you put them before your family." She said raising her voice a bit louder as she went on.
I was speechless. Is this what she thought all along? After she told me she was happy for me and Ethan?
"I thought my little sister would be proud of what her brothers are doing." I said.
"I'm not saying I'm not proud. To be honest, it's a little hard to call you my brother when you're never home anymore." She spat at me.
"It's hard to call you my sister when you're flipping out on me over this. You know what? Any one else would be happy to be called my little sister. You're being such a brat about this. I wish that you weren't even my sister sometimes." I said without thinking.
I covered my mouth immediately after saying those words.
Her face fell. It was almost like I could see her heart breaking. Her fists unclenched and her shoulders fell.
"I'm sorry you feel that way towards me." She said.
She gulped.
"I'm sorry, Kate. I didn't mean for that to come out. I love you, Kate." I said.
She turned around and sat back in her bed.
"I love you." I said before walking out of her room.
She looked at me and looked back down at her phone.
My heart is wrenching.
I started to walk down the hallway when I heard Kate quietly sobbing.
What have I done.
I slowly walked downstairs.

"Is this about that video?" Jack asked.
"No crap." Jaycee said.
"I don't think I have seen her so upset, yet angry in my life." She added.
"That's saying something." Nate said.
"I'm praying for Grayson to make it out of there alive." She said.
We all waited patiently for a few moments before we heard Kate raising her voice.
"You deleted that video, but can you delete all these?" I heard her say.
Then we heard them going back and forth.
"Should someone go up there?" Jake asked.
"When it comes to Kate and Grayson arguing, it's best to leave them alone." I said.
I heard footsteps coming down from upstairs.
I watched Grayson make his way down the stairs.
He ran his hand through his hair in frustration.
"That didn't sound good." Jack said.
"Could you guys hear that?" He asked.
"After Kate raised her voice." I said.
"Now I know what she really thinks about us." Grayson said biting his lip.
"Now we really know what you think of her." Jack said in disappointment.
I looked down at the table.
"Jaycee, how about you go upstairs and talk to her." Finn said.
"How mad is she?" She asked Grayson.
"When I left I heard her crying." He said.
"I'll be upstairs." She said and went upstairs.
"She's not forgiving me, after all that I said." Grayson said.
