Ethan and Grayson were speechless. They both had blank expressions on their faces.
"Is she..." Ethan started, he didn't want to say it, but he was trying to ask if she was still having "suicidal thoughts".
"No, no. She's okay." I said.
They let out a sigh of relief.
"So you're saying that Kate attempted to kill herself because the three of us got in an argument?" Grayson asked.
Before I could reply Grayson added.
"Bs."
"You wish that was the case." Nate said.
"She tried to kill herself because her older brother called her a mistake, said that he wishes she was never his sister, and so many other things." Nate added.
"Nate, you know that was all on accident." Grayson said trying to sound apologetic.
"Was it?" I asked.
"I-I don't know what has gotten into me lately." Grayson said.
"Me either." Nate and I both said.
Suddenly we heard police sirens coming from down the street. They turned into our driveway. It's like we all forgot about what had been arguing about and all sprinted down the street to our house. A tall man in a police uniform had just been let in our house. The four of us all sprinted in the house. We saw our mother begin crying.
My heart dropped, this had to be the news that they found Jack and Kate dead. Then she hugged and thanked him.
"They found them." She said to us.
