A/N okay just so a quick note I'm too lazy to edit that chapter where the fam finds out jack and kate are aye okay so imma just re write that sucka so badda Bing badda boom here we go!

Grayson and I felt that we should spend as much time with Nate and Finn as possible for two reasons. One, their "twins" (idek what to refer to them as so I'm just gonna say twins if you don't like that then... deal with it😊) had just been kidnapped. Two, Jack and Kate's kidnapping made us realize how easily we could lose each other so it felt like the best fit.
I was laying in Nate's bed with Nate and Grayson was laying in Finn's bed with Finn. We wanted to comfort them, hopefully take their minds off the negative.
I checked my phone.
12:16 a.m
"Is anyone even tired?" I asked.
"No." Finn and Nate responded with an annoyed voice.
"Do you guys maybe just want to go for a walk around the neighborhood?" Grayson asked.
"Do you guys want to go for a walk?" I re-asked.
"Sure." Nate responded.
"Finn?" Grayson asked.
"It's kind of cold out." Finn said.
"Then you'll wear a sweatshirt." I said.
"Then I guess we can." He said getting out of his bed.
Grayson and I grabbed our sweatshirts and told Nate and Finn to meet us downstairs.
Grayson and I went into our parents room.
She was still awake.
"Hey ma, Ethan and I are going to bring Finn and Nate for a walk. We'll be back soon." Grayson said.
She looked hesitant at first, but allowed it.
"What are we going to do?" I asked my brother while pulling the sweatshirt over my head.
"They just need to get their minds off of things." He said.
Nate and Finn came downstairs.
"What is the point of this?" Finn said with the same annoyed tone.
I ignored his annoyance and opened the door letting all of the cold air come into the house.
The four of us walked outside and down our drive way.
"You know if someone that has been kidnapped has been missing for more than 12 hours the chance of them coming back is split in half? And 12 hours after that it's cut in half?" Finn started while kicking a rock down the street.
"Well they have only been gone for about nine hours if that makes you feel any better." Grayson said sniffling.
"It doesn't, they're still gone. Their chances of coming back are still small." Nate said cutting in with a sharp voice.
"Don't you realize what's going on?!" Nate said now raising his voice.
Grayson and I stopped and stared at him.
"Two of the four of us are gone. Out somewhere with someone who is doing who knows what with them?!" He exclaimed.
"We realize that Nate, they're our brother and sister too." Grayson said trying to stay calm.
"Grayson, you didn't even care for Kate when she was here so you could shut your mouth." Finn said.
"Are you kidding?!" Grayson and I both said.
"I loved Kate. What does this have to do with anything?" Grayson said now raising his voice.
"Face it Grayson, when was the last time that you actually spent time with Kate, maybe asked her how she was doing? Actually talked to her like a brother." Nate said crossing his arms.
Grayson was now furious.
"I very much so cared for Kate. Maybe I didn't always spend as much time with her, but I cared for her when she was here." Grayson said.
"Cared enough about her that you would wish she was never your sister?" Finn said.
"Okay, now what does this have to do with this? That was like a month ago. It was an accident he didn't mean to say it. Keep in mind that she also forgave him!" I said.
Finn and Nate looked at each other and shook their heads.
"You guys think you know so much about them, about us, but your just so caught up with yourselves, each other. You don't really realize what's going on in front of you." Nate said.
"You thought they told you guys everything, you guys thought they were honest with you." Finn said.
Grayson and I looked at each other.
"What are you talking about?" Grayson asked.
"The night that you'd lashed out on Kate? Remember that night?" Finn asked.
We nodded not sure where the conversation was going.
"She tried to kill herself." Nate said biting his lip.
