Emir came back with his bag, found Feriha still sitting there on the rug. Her head was rested on the couch, sleeping soundly. He smiled looking at her then picked her up gently and took her to the bed , covered her with quilt. She woke up and asked Emir not to leave her alone. Emir sat beside her, kissing her head said he would be back soon after changing his clothes.

Emir changed his clothes and came to her. Emir had seen earlier that when he picked her up, his hands touched her shoulder, she felt dull ache in her shoulder. Feriha turned towards him, smiled at him touching his face. Emir asked if she was having some pain.
Feriha told him laughingly,' when I was running away from you, that time I hit the tree bark. My shoulder might be hurting a little, but will be fine in the morning.' When she saw Emir's concerned expressions, ready to get up to call the doctor, Feriha stopped him, holding his hand told him not to worry. But Emir told her to wait for him,he would be coming.
Feriha remembered the day when both went to Ada/ Büyükada after their marriage was exposed. Both the families were angry with them. She was upset and broken with her father's behavior. Then gently Emir had enfolded her in his arms and had taken her upstairs to their apartment. She had felt safe in his arms. Both had so many dreams in their eyes for future. She smiled at the memory of buying the rings for each other and then putting in each other fingers. Most beautiful moments of her life when both surrendered to their unconditional love for each other.
