Chapter 13.
Laurens point of view.

"Alright class. So today we are going to read from the book. With partners that I choose for you. You guys will take turns reading through chapter seven." My science teacher, Mrs. Alvarez, states in front of the class. I stand by listening to the class groan in annoyance.

"You guys are so enthusiastic. Great so Sarah Todd, and Kaden Johnson. Melissa Brown and Jaiden Tobias. Emilee Badillo and Erick Gonzalez. Lauren Jauregui...And Louis Tomlinson." My teacher spoke loudly.

My body froze. What? I'm partners with Louis...

A chair is pushed behind me, and a body sits on the empty chair next to mine.

"Hey." A beautiful familiar voice speaks. I smile up at Louis. Getting lost in his blue eyes.

"Hi." I smile.

"So do you have a science book?" Louis questions me and I blush in embarrassment, shaking my head.

"My cousin threw it into a shredder." I mumble. Louis erupts into laughter, his laugh so amazing I can't help but look at him.

"What? How?"

"A few weeks ago I went to Cuba to visit some family. And I took my backpack with me, not realizing I had school stuff inside. We were throwing random things into a shredder and my cousin grabbed my science book and threw it in. I ordered another one and I'm waiting for it." I explain. Louis laughs again.

"How about you? Do you have a book?" I ask him. He stops laughing, shaking his head. His cheeks red.

"I um, used it to kill a rat. So I threw it away afterwards." Louis says. I gape at him.

"There was a rat in your room?"

Louis shakes his head. "In the kitchen."

Mrs. Alvarez walks towards us.

"Why aren't you guys reading yet?" She asks softly.

"Shredder." I say.

"Killed a rat." Louis smiles up at her.

She stares at us for a few seconds. "Just talk for the rest of the period." She says before walking away.

"So you and your friends are coming to the party on Saturday?" Louis questions. I nod.

"You seemed a little confused when your friend, Ally I think it was, said yes to going."

I narrow my eyes, nodding.

"My friends are not really into partying and stuff so when they said yes I was a bit confused." I explain. Louis nods in understanding.

"Camila gave me your number." Louis says softly. I glare at him. Thinking about Camila. How dare she? Why and how did she even get my phone number?

"Oh really? If you wanted my number you could have just asked me." I smile down at Louis.

He blushes.

"I wasn't sure if I did. Now I am." He says, not taking his eyes off mine.

Okay so short chapter. Sorry. But I really wanted Lauren and Louis to talk. And what the heck are you guys doing?! Louis you're into GUYS and Lauren you're into GIRLS. DID WE FORGET HERE. dangit it's gonna take a million years for camren to get together and for Larry to forgive each other. Which they will. I think. Hopefully.
