Chapter 21.
Lukes point of view.

"I'll g-give you money." Niall slurs, moving his hand up to my shoulder. I look down at him confused, he's clearly drunk.

"Okay." I smile.

He takes another sip from his cup.

"In one conditioner-"

"Condition." Michael corrects him.

"Yeah, you and your friends perform a song. LIVE." He shouts the last word making some people cheer him on.

"Umm..sure." I say, looking down at Ashton who nods.

Niall smiles jumping up and down.

"Yay! I love you!" He smiles.

He wraps his hands around me, his drink slightly smilling on my leather jacket. He grabs Ashton, Calum, and Michael and hugs us tightly. Repeating the words, "I love you"

Me and the boys walk away from the crowd. Leaving Niall to laugh alone by himself.

We walk into the living room. People are talking and dancing.

Im shocked when i see our instruments and Ashtons drumset set neatly behind the couch. Microphone stands against the walls.

"Me and Niall actually talked about this yesterday so I already set up everything when we arrived." Calum explains.

We rush to the instruments. Setting up everything. Me and the boys aren't proffessional or anything but we do enjoy performing for other people.

I plug the microphones cables in.

I give a thumbs up to Zayn who's by the music stand. I nod at the speakers and he instantly gets the idea. Turning the music off.

Everyone stops dancing and talking, immediately looking around in confusion.

"Hi!" I shout into the microphone. Everyone looks up at me.

"I'm Luke Hemmings, these are my friends Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, and Michael Clifford. And were going to be performing live for all of you!" I shout. Surprised when the crowds screams, cheering us on.

"We can't perform alone though, who would like to come up and perform with us?!" Calum shouts into his microphone. I snap my head towards him. That's not what I was going to say next.

"Pick someone Luke." Calum says into the microphone looking at me. Some people raise their hand and jump in the crowd. But I find myself looking for one certain girl.

"Jade Thriwall." I say into the microphone. Smiling when her face turns towards me. She's in the back of the crowd, her friends next to her.

"Everyone create a space for Jade and her friends to come up." Michael says into his microphone. People move out of the way, creating a big space.

I walk in between the crowds rushing towards Jade. I smile down at her, taking her small hand.

"I don't sing!" She says, her cheeks heating up.

"Oh c'mon!" I laugh.

"Maybe its not in your underwear, but at least do it this time." I say to her. Her laugh making me smile down at her.

"For me Jade." I look down into her eyes. It takes her a few seconds before she sighs, and nods.

"You girls are coming too!" I say, looking down at her friends.

Once we're in front of the crowd again i grab my microphone.

"They agreed!" I smile. Everyone claps, screaming and shouting.

"Me and the boys are going to choose one song. While you girls choose one to sing. And we will do a mashup of both songs." I explain to Jade and her friends.

"Okay." Jade says, nodding.

I turn around to face the guys.

We decided to do the song, She looks so perfect. I rush to the girls.

"We chose she looks so perfect. What song did you girls pick?" I ask them.

"We chose Salute." Perrie smiles up at me. I nod before rushing back to the boys and telling them how we would perform it.

Calum grabs four mircrophones, handing them to the girls who thank him.

The music begans to play. The electric guitar starting.

"He-ey-e-ey!" Me and the other guys sing into the microphone all at once.

"He-ey-e-ey!" We sing again.

"He-ey-e-ey!"

I notice the crowd slowly getting into the music.

"He-ey-ey!" I cant help but notice Jade staring at me intently.

"He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-ey!" We sing one last time.

"Ladies all across the world, listen up were looking for recruits." Jesy sang into the microphone. I was pretty shocked when I heard her voice.

From what I've seen, she's the shy one. And i would have never guessed how amazing she sounded when she sang.

"If you with me let me see your hands, stand up, salute." She sang.

"Get your killer heels, sneakers, pumps or lace up your boots. Representing all the women. Salute, salute." She looked down at Jade. Her voice sounded amazing.

"Ladies all across the world, listen up were looking for recruits." Jade sang, her voice sounded incredible. It was so beautiful.

"Don't move, honey." I sang, not taking my eyes off her.

"You look so perfect standing there. I'm my American apparel of underwear. But I know now, that I'm so down." Me and the other guys sang loudly. I coudlnt hold back the smile on my face as Michael and Calum bumped their heads against mine. Singing into my mircrophone.

"Salute, salute." The girls sang, smiling at us.

"Attention, salute. Attention. Salute. Attention, representing all the women. Salute salute." They sang all together, sounding like a proper girl band. And they sounded, amazing.

"He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-ey!"

"Salute, salute."

"We are everywhere warriors. Your country needs you. If youre ready ladies, better keep steady ready, aim shoot. Don't need ammunition on a mission. Now we hit you with the truth. Divas, queens, we don't need no money." Leigh Anne sings. Her voice was high and clear. She sounded so good. These girls have good voices.

"All I really want is you." Calum sang into the microphone.

"You look so perfect standing there in my American empire of underwear. And I know now.. that I'm so down." We sang all together. The crowd was dancing and screaming.

"Salute, salute." Jade and her friends sang.

"Attention, salute. Attention, salute, attention. Representing all the woman, salute salute."

"He-ey-e-ey!  He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-e-ey! He-ey-ey!"

I couldn't help but smile as everyone sang along loudly.

I looked to the side. My eyes meeting the beautiful hazel ones I can stare into all day.
