Bey's POV
"I know. I just don't know what to do. I have no place to stay or anything really," I sighed as I put my face in my hands.

"You can stay with me for a while Bey until you and Kelly make up," he said.

"Seriously Jay? Thank you so much!," I said hugging him tightly.

"You're welcome Bey," he said hugging me back.

"But wait. What about your parents? Won't they ask questions about a random girl staying in your house?," I asked.

"My parents are out of town on business trips, so they won't be home," he told me.

"How long are they gone?," I asked him.

"2 weeks for the first business trip and another 3 for the second one. So 5 weeks," he answered.

"I promise I'll be out of your hair by then. I'm so sorry to impose on you Jay," I apologized.

"You're not imposing on me Bey. You're my friend and you need help," he said.

"Well what about Simone?," I asked.

"It's none of her business what happens with me and you. And plus, she'll be mad as hell if she knew, so she won't," he said.

"I don't know how I'll ever repay you for this," I said.

"Seeing you safe and happy is payment enough," he told me.

I smiled and blushed.

"Thank you Jay," I smiled.

"You're welcome Bey," he smiled back at me.

We stared into each other's eyes for a minute until we realized he was still holding my waist and my hands were resting on his shoulders.

We quickly let each other go, and it was awkward.

"Well I should get to class," I said walking away toward the door.

"Yeah, I should go to class too. I'll take you home after school. I'll meet you at your locker after school so we can go," he told me.

"Alright. Bye Jay," I said as I walked out the door.

I walked out the door and to my next class.

(After School)

I was at my locker waiting on Jay. I saw Kelly walking over to her locker which was next to mine.

As soon as she saw me, she rolled her eyes and walked back.

"Kelly please wait," I said as I walked after her.

"I'm giving you your space, your freedom just like you asked," she told me.

"I didn't mean it like that. You know that," she said.

"No Beyoncé, I don't know what you mean, and I haven't known what you mean for the last month! Ever since you started hanging out with Chris, you've been acting completely different! I don't know what's been going on with you, but you're gonna have to figure it out before we're friends again!," she yelled at me walking away.

"Kelly! Please just let me explain!," I yelled after her.

But I knew she wasn't gonna listen. I sniffled as tears started to pour out of my eyes.

"It's okay Bey. She'll come around," I heard.

I turned around to see Jay.
