Bey's POV
When I woke up, Jay wasn't in bed. I got up and went downstairs.I heard sounds coming from the kitchen. I went in there where I saw Jay cooking.
"Hi," I smiled.
"Hey, good morning. I was just making breakfast for you," he told me.
"Thank you," I told him.
"It's my pleasure. You're my guest," he told me.
"Listen, I hope I didn't make things weird between us by sleeping in bed with you last night. I was just scared sleeping in a new place in a dark room all by myself. But I promise for the rest of my stay here I'll sleep by myself. I wouldn't want to make things complicated," I said to him.
"It's fine Bey. Sure, it was a little different sleeping in a bed with my friend, but it's okay. I understand that you're scared. You just do whatever you need to do to be comfortable, and I'll adjust," he explained to me.
"Okay then. What's for breakfast?," I asked him.
"Pancakes and bacon," he told me.
"Great. I'm starving," I smiled as I sat down.
He put our plates on the table and sat down himself.
We ate our breakfast, made small talk, and laughed.
After breakfast, I went upstairs, took a bath, got dressed, and did my hair.
I grabbed my book bag and went downstairs. Jay was on the couch fully dressed waiting for me.
"You ready?," he asked me.
"Yeah," I answered.
"Well let's go," he told me.
We headed out the front door together. We got in his car and drove to school.
He helped me out of the car when arrived at school. We walked in school together.
"I'll see you in class Jay. I need to go to my locker," I told him walking away.
