EVE'S POV.
how could she walk away from him? I couldn't do that, I thought. I shut my locker door and ran up to her. "Are you okay?" She just stood there and didn't say anything. "Drusilla."
She finally looked at me. "Yes, I'm okay. Why do you ask that?"
"Because I worry about you alot. Drusilla, you haven't been your self since you broke up with Jackson and plus Jackson is trying his best to do better, but you're pushing him away. You clearly miss him."
She raised an eyebrow and said. "Yes I do miss him but we don't deserve each other. I deserve better, Eve. Why can't you understand that?" She rolled her eyes and walked off but I ran after her.
"Is this about this other dude?" I asked.
She sighed. "Can everyone get out of my skin! Please." She finally walked off and I stood there.
I turned my head to find Jackson at his locker, getting his science book. This was my chance.
I walked over there and stood there. "Hi."
He face me. "Hey, Eve." He wasn't happy and I hate seeing a guy like him like that. I clear my throat and said. "You okay?"
He nodded. "I guess so."
I lean on the locker. "You still want to get with her, don't you?"
He shut his locker door and turned to me. "Yes more than anything in this world."
"I can show how you can get her back," I said. Why would I say that? But I had a plan. A plan that probably will get Jackson and I together.
I wanted that. I wanted to show him that Drusilla wasn't good enough for him, I wanted to show him that I was the one for him. A girl that wouldn't choose a other guy over him.
"Really?" He asked.
I nodded. "Yes. Just come by the coffee shop and I'll show you ways to get her back."
He smiled and then nodded. "Okay. I'll come but what if Drusilla thinks that we're -" he started to move his finger back and forth
"That's the one plan. When she see's us, she'll think and she's get jealous and then she'll want you back." I smiled.
"I like the way you think," he told me. "I'll see you after school." He moved away from me and walked off.
I smiled and yet I couldn't help it. I turned to face him, watching him walk off and I knew for a fact that it was going to work.***
After school I had went to work and Jackson had met up with me there. We went in and sat down and just waiting for Drusilla to come in.
"Okay, so what's first?" He asked.
We both sat down and I said. "Act like you moved on from her, talk to new people and when I say people, I mean girls." Which I meant me, I thought.
"So, basically talk to you?" He was confused.
"Yeah you could do that. Ignore her and that will drive her crazy," I said.
"Okay I think I can do this. Here she comes," Jackson told me.
I got up from the seat and said. "Come up to me and just start talking to me and she'll wonder why you aren't talking to her." I ran off to the counter and grab a pen and paper.
Drusilla came up to the counter and grab her apron.
"Hey, Drusilla." I said.
She looked up at me. "Hi."
She wasn't okay and some reason I felt bad but I wanted Jackson. It was my turn to have him.
"I noticed Jackson is here," I told her. She turned her face and found Jackson looking at her. He waved and she face me and said. "That's cool." She grab a pen and paper and walked off.
I looked at Jackson and shook my shoulders. He got up from his seat and came to me. "Hey."
"Oh hey Jackson," I said out loud. We both looked at Drusilla, but she didn't look. She was taking someone's order.
"It isn't working-"
"Just keep talking," I said.
"Don't you have history with me?" He asked me.
"Uh yeah, why?" I raised an eyebrow.
"I didn't know you did and I was going to tell you that you could sit next to me tomorrow."
"Really?"
He nodded. "Yeah."
She still wasn't looking.
"I would love that," I said.
Drusilla walked to our way and grab a cup.
"Hey Drusilla," I turned to her. She looked at me.
"Yeah?"
"Jackson asked me if I could hang with him and I was wondering if it's okay with you?" That would work.
Jackson looked at Drusilla and Drusilla looked at both of us and shook her shoulders. "I don't care." She pour coffee into the cup.
I signed. "Okay making sure because I didn't wont it to be weird if I went with Jackson because of y'all two."
"I'm okay with it." With that, she walked off.
Jackson looked at me and was alittle upset. "It isn't working."
"Because it takes time," I said.
"I'm going to go, so see you later." He back up and walk out the door.DRUSILLA POV.
after work, I had went straight home because what was the point in stoping in the middle of the night, waiting for a guy that probably wouldn't show up.
It was alittle windy out side because winter was coming, so I had put my hands in my jacket pocket and cuddle up more to my jacket.
I got to the house and and walked to the kitchen to find mom fixing dinner.
"I'm back," I said.
"How was school and work?" She asked me.
"It was alright." I put my bag on the table and sat down.
"Heard of that guy?" She wondered.
I nodded no.
"Crap, I wanted to see him more." She came up to me and kiss my head. "These things happen, okay. And you know what, maybe he'll come back."
I looked at her. "I doubt it. It's been a week and I haven't seen him." Tears fell down my eyes. "I'm just going to take a nap."
She didn't say anything. With that, I had went up to my room and laid down. I put my hands into my face and started to cry.
These were real tears and it suck that Spike left. It hurted that he went and didn't tell me goodbye. I was hurt that I like him and he decided to leave. Who does that?
