I got inside and went up to my/Evan's room (AN: I think that's his name, whatever that's his new name) and got changed into a tracksuit pants and T-shirt. I went downstairs to get food from the fridge thing, which I don't know how it operates without electricity. Probably magic from Penelope. I grabbed some of the leftovers from yesterdays dinner and made use of my fire to heat it and ate in my bed in 'my' room. I ate and went down to put my dishes on the table when I heard the door burst open and a grumpy messy-looking Aiden walking through. He glared at me and I smiled sheepishly.
"What's up Aiden" I said with a cheery voice to try and calm him down.
"Oh nothing, just struggled to get through the woods with all the animals and bugs." He said with a sarcastic angry tone and shuddered when he said bugs.
"Oh, well that's nice" He fake smiled and my clothes burst in flames for a second and as it did, I yelped then it dissipated but my clothes didn't burn, just I did. I retaliated by letting some ice-mist creep into his clothes and freezing just his body but kept his head unfrozen so that he could still feel and look around.
I left him like that for a few minutes before Penelope came in with a polite, calm smile on her face and became confused when she saw me sitting but Adrian just standing still. I shattered the ice and he flew to the wall and slid down to the floor. I laughed and turned to Penelope with a worried look, then I laughed again and she joined in.
"Are you okay, dear?" She asked Adrian who was just sitting criss-crossed looking like nothing happened to him a few minutes ago.
"Yeah, I'm fine, this happens everyday to me, basically, so yeah." He said.
"Well okay, do you children want something to eat?" She asked.
"No, I ate already, thank you." I said. Adrian shook his head and went to the kitchen to make him something to eat by himself. I went upstairs and climbed into my bed and drifted off into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.
