Chapter 12- more learning

I woke up and when I tried to open my eyes, I couldn't, it was shut. Then I felt it and it was just that sand that kept my eyes shut. Damn you Sandman. I rubbed it off and it was a bit sore because when I pulled it, it pulsed my eyelids and eyebrows with it. Eeewww. I cringed at the sight of it in between my fingers and threw it outside my window. I grabbed my facecloth and washed my face and took my toothbrush and toothpaste to brush my teeth. I got in the shower and adjusted the water to the right temperature so that i could relax in the warm water running down my back. i grabbed this worlds definition of soap and rubbed it across my body and took the shampoo to thoroughly wash every inch of my hair so that it could be extra clean for today's training because me and Adrian would have a duel which is like a fight but with magic and swords but we will just be using magic since I don't know how to use a real sword yet. I am so excited to actually be able to hurt Adrian without him complaining and whining but a little bit nervous because i'm going against an experienced 'magician' or whatever you call him, actually I'll just call him a fighter or combatant or even combat-ant. Hah. Yes, he is like a ant, a puny, tiny little ant (I am now smirking evilly) that I could step on anytime because I am way more importa- wait, what am i saying. What just happened, it's like I wasn't in control of my own mind. Hmm, weird.

I stepped out of the shower and dried myself with a towel and got changed into the 'jeans' and blue top and put my blue-grey silvermist armour over it and it shrunk to fit me perfectly. I took out my tapestry and it unfolded itself and floated in front of me with blue energy coming from the sides. I looked for my black thread and saw that there was two little holes on either side of the tapestry in the bottom corners and there was black thread and golden thread. I pulled on the black thread and it cut just enough for me to put it through a needle, the thread was about 5 inches long and I put the needle in it and the hole glowed black. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes and I pulled back my hands and pushed them forward, with purple and black streaks coming from my hands, and waved them up in the air and did some other wavy things until I stopped and letting the streaks fade and opened my eyes to reveal the sparkling black wings with a horn in the middle to summon Storm, my unicorn. I still feel giddy saying that I have a unicorn. I heard neighing outside and I looked out my window to see him looking up at me with those hypnotizing stormy eyes. I squealed and smiled like a fool. I ate my breakfast then went outside to climb on Storm and just as Adrian tried to climb on I pushed him off
'' Who said you could take ride with me" I said with a devilish grin on my face.
"Me, now move forward so I can sit behind you" He said in an annoyed tone. I could take advantage of this.
"Hmm, only if you say please with a nice voice and huge smile " I said and he huffed putting an annoyed smile on his face and saying it with a mocking tone " Please" I pretended like i was thinking and told him.
"Hmm, lemme think about it. How about no" As I said no it faded away as
I disappeared into thin air with a purple light and teleported to the field
where we first started training.

I waited for about ten minutes before I heard rustling in the bushes and a grumpy looking Adrian coming out. He glared at me as I innocently smiled back at him. He lifted his hand and I saw mist coming out of it and creeping towards me. I shuffled back and realised it was ice magic and he was trying to do what I did to him when I caused him pain and I used liquid fire to keep the mist away from me. He smirked and clapped his hands. I looked so confused and he just smiled.
"It was a test to see if you can actually think and have a brain and it turns out you have a brain in that previously hollow skull of yours." He explained and I walked up to him to slap him for insulting me but i couldn't walk any closer because he made an Air barrier around himself to keep himself at bay from me. I had to use Earth magic to create two wall on either side of me to walk through and sock him in the jaw. I smiled, now we can prepare for our duel.
