Chapter 8- learning magic- part 1

We are leaving to the woods to get the open field so Adrian can teach me all of my magics. I can't wait, I'm so excited!! In the woods , we heard shuffling in the bushes. We got in battle position and I readied my fire. It jumped out and we found out it was just a friendly deer. We headed forward and heard screeching behind us. We looked back to see the deer was shaking around and his skin was opening and was turned into a huge monster. "What is that?" I asked with fear in my voice. "It is called a blazing beast. It is from the evil beings who wants to kill everything and everyone." Huh, so that's a type of creature In this world, normally you would find it on a disney cartoon our something But its pretty scary in real life. Now we Are running for or lives shooting fire but missing so I thought why are we shooting fire, we should be shooting water because it is a fire creature so I shot water and it shrieked and melted into a black puddle. They were shocked and surprised that I learned how to use water on my own.

We arrived at the field and Adrian took out black thread and golden thread. "Uhh, what's that for?" I asked. "You are going to learn royal magic" he said. I gulped nervously. I wonder what I'm supposed to do. He took out something that looked like a mini tapestry kind of thing. He have out to me and i was so confused. He chuckled and gave me the thing and black thread. "The black thread is to grant you different powers like flying and telekinesis and to cast beings to battle. The golden thread is to create the future and control things except for the dark beings. First you are going to summon a merman with blue lightning art his command. Prick the needle into the tapestry." I followed what He said and when i did the spot where the needle went in glowed black. He told me to wane my hands on a style. I raised my hands and purple waves with gold streaks in it appeared around my hands and he told me to weave a tail with sparks around it. Yay, I did it. A merman appeared in the water and his eyes and hands were glowing blue and he looked very angry.
Next i used the golden thread. I weaved a spiral and saw that Adrian was hypnotized. Whoops. How do I fix this. "When I snap my fingers, you will return to normal." and so I snapped my fingers and He snapped out of his daze. I laughed in his face and He became very mad. He snapped his fingers and I was laying on the floor and my stomach hurt, what did he do. I looked at my stomach and saw that the cloth on my stomach was ripped to shreds. "Serves you right. I used air magic to force you to the ground but I got carried away, my bad" he said sarcastically. " On, I think that's enough classes for today, let's get home. And we did exactly that.
