They went down to the field. The coach saw her and looked stunned. Then he went to talk to the coach and got the sign up sheet and called roll. Zay.. John...David..Brandon...Zach...Shane...Cj...Cyri..Aj..Andre....... He called a bunch of names and hers was the last name. Indigo. Hi. A group of boys stayed to laugh. "Quite!" The coach yelled. He called positions out and they went to their group . "You play QB you don't look like you could ." Andre said. "Yes I have been playing for a couple of year, are you scared that I may beat you." "No football is my game, a girl can't stand me up." "Sure."
They through the ball around and then they actually did some real playing. "Ready set hike......"
"She's really good". The coach were talking about her. "Are we allowed to have a girl on the team.?" "I'm not sure ."
They had a week long tryouts. Each day was harder than the other. Today they would find out if they made the team.
