One for the team

Everyone was so ready to meet the kids . Coach was at the frount signing kids in the fount. It was a pretty hot day for March. Indigo had her hair in a slick ponytail. She had a tank top and a light jacket and with leggings and running shoes . She was so ready to meet these kids. They were all so exited to see everyone .

"Hey Guys you ready to learn football!!" Indigo said . "Yesssss!!" All the kids said. They all started running around the track to get their blood pumping. They started passing and throwing. After they did that for a couple of minutes they moved to conditioning. They kids were getting tired.

"Okay Guys snack break then we will do more conditioning." Indigo said.Zay and Shane stayed with the kids and everyone eles went to grab water and fruit.

"Hey Troy how's it going." Indigo said passing out the food. "Crazy kids but their fun." Troy said . They both started laughing. "Yeah I see that. I'm so glad so many girls signed up . I wana make a good impression on them . We have them from 9-2 right?" "Yeah Why." "Well I wana get to know the girls a little so they know they have a chance. " "Aww that's sweet I would hug you if those kids weren't staring at us." They looked at the kids they were looking at them and talking amongst themselves. Indigo and Troy laughed. "Hey your birthdays is a month what do you think your going to do ?" "Oh you remmber?" "Yes April 18 I wouldn't forget so what do you wana do ?" "I don't know dinner seems basic , House party seems mature golfing could be fun or maybe movie I don't know ?" "Well the 18th is a pretty important date for many reasons ." "Oh yeah my birthday January 18 birthday and ... " "we started being a thing on the 18." "Yeah and your birthday may 18." "Yeah birthday twins and thing twins." Troy said. "Yeah . So next week it would have been one month since we have been a thing ." "Yeah it's been great." "Yeah well we better get started ." Indigo said . "Yeah."

They went and started conditioning again. Then they split into team and pratice for their "game." Indigo Chris Shane had one team . Zay Andre and Troy had the other . Eveyone eles were side coaches "cheerleaders" refs or played on a team.

"Okay Guys we are going to learn plays and team work and structure on how to play with a team . You guys are all around 8-10 right?" Indigo asked them. "Yes!" They all said . "Okay great let's get some work done then ."

They practices hard and strong no one wanted to give up but they were so tired . Indigo suggested a water break for 5 minutes. They got their water and headed back to learn some more plays.

"This is so much fun thank you so much for having us I'm loving it." A little girl with pigtails said. "Aww thank you I hope you do like it." "Oh she does too but she can't speak or hear. She deaf ." The little girl with pigtails said pointing to the girl next to her . They looked exactly alike . Both had brown pigtails and the fair skin . And not be had matching pink track suits. " oh what's your names !" "Well I'm Lily and this is Lynn." "Nice to met you two . I'm Indigo." She signed her name. "I know sign language too." Indigo said and signed . "My mom taught me when I was young and it stuck nice to meet you guys we will talk more soon hold on." She signed and said. Then meet everyone back in the center to pratice some more.

After an hour Troy and Indigo went to get their lunches.

"Hey Troy did you know one of the girls in camp is deaf." "No I did !" "Well yeah we do and I wanted to know if you would learn sign language please!!!" Indigo begged. "Yeah why not ." "Thank you thank you thank you!!!" "
Aye No problem who's teaching me ?" "Well me it requires you coming to my house or I go to yours or FaceTime calls everyday to learn." "Is this just a way for us to hang out more ? Because if it is I like hanging out with you." He laughed and she joined in. "No i think it would be good for us to learn ." "Okay then I'll try how about we teach the others too . That way we can all help her." "Good ideas."

They came down with the lunches but they had to wash their hands first . [Perfect time for me to ask them about football ] She though to herself.

"Hey girls how you liking football ?" Indigo asked after they came back from the bathroom.
"I like it it's really fun!!" A little girl said. Lily signed the whole conversation to Lynn. "Hey how does it feel to be the only girl on the team ?" Lynn asked . "Well it's kinda scary but fun . The guys on the team are like brothers to me . Their always their to help me and protect me and I do the same to them . Their all really nice and I see us playing together in high school which will be very fun." "Do you like anyone on the team ? Or have a boyfriend." Lily asked . "Well um..." "the guy over their keeps looking at you and smiles a lot at you . We all think he likes you." Another little girl said . "Well thanks but me and him are just friends." "If you say so but we saw y'all kiss one time at a dance." Another one said Oh really well we did , and we do like each other's but we're not dating if that's what your looking "for." "Okay well I think y'all should it would be so romantic!!" A little girl said . "Well thanks ." "If he says no I have a brother who you should meet . He thinks your really pretty. We all do." Lily said. "Well thank you . Let's talk football now how many of you want to play it." Indigo asked . They all raised their hands. "Well you have come to the right spot let's go eat." The girls started laughing again. "What's so funny ?" "He's looking at you again and coming this way !!!" The girls ran away to the table to get lunch.

"What was that all about ?" Troy said. "They were asking if we were dating ." Troy stood still and stiff . "What you says ?" "I told them that we like each other but we're not dating." "Okay." "Yeah they are trying to set me up with their brothers." Indigo laughed. "Which ones ?" "Lily and a girl who kinda looks like you ." "Yeah that's my cousin." Troy said with a laugh. "Really well I heard that you think I'm pretty , and funny and really cuteeee. According to her." Troy blushed. Indigo laughed. "So how about the other girl you going to date her brother." "Troy I like you ." "Yeah I know." "We agreed to take things slow but I'm not looking to date anyone eles , okay ." "Okay." "Gotta go to the kids ." Indigo ran off and once again Troy looked at her .

"We hope you guys had fun see you later." Andre said. "Bye !!" They all said. Indigo went to Lynn. "See you latter ." She singed and Lynn hugged her. "Thank you!" Her mom said and they left.

They all sat down to eat their lunches. "Guys we should all learn how to sign I think it would make Lynn really happy ." "Yeah let's try ." Shane said . "Yeah." Eveyone said in agreement. "Great theirs a classes durning school we could take." Chris said . "Yeah I take it it's helpful ." Mark said . "Well we will see y'all Monday."
