Getting to know each other

"Hey Mom Dad. At twelve Troy is having a met and greet to this one girl. Her name is Stormie and she's really nice we met in France and she's coming to our high school. Can I go?" And can Stormie come over and spend the night."Indigo asked. "Um sure just come home before seven." Her dad said. Just then the doorbell rang. "That must be Stormie. We need to get ready."

Stormie came inside to met her parents. "Hey Mr and Mrs Wilson. Im Stormie." "Hey Stormie. We have to go to work but we will love to talk to you guys at dinner and get to know you. Bye now." Her parents left with that. "Okay do have you eaten breakfast?" "No." "Okay we. Can make some pancakes." "Great I'm so hungry." They made some food and then they went upstairs to get ready.

"Your make up is so creative!!" Indigo said watching her put on a blue eyeshadow with a sparkly lip gloss and blue eyeliner. She unbraided her colorful hair and it made beach waves. She was wearing black shorts with a blue off the shoulder shirt. "Wow thanks. Your outfits really cute. It's simple but cute." Indigo had a black bodysuit with blue flowy short with a Jean jacket and black shoes. "Thanks. You ready Shane with Zay said he's out front." "Yup let's go."

The restaurant
They all went inside and say Troy and Andre waving to them at a table. "Hey guys." Troy said. "Hey." Then all said and sat down. They order smoothies and chips. Just then Cinya and Zach came in. "Sorry were late. Zach's brothers car broke down." "It's okay. We're going to miss you when you leave tomorrow." Indigo said. "I'm going to miss y'all too. Cheer camp is going to be so hard tho. At least I can see my cousins in La for a little bit. I'll text y'all everyday tho." "You better." Stormie said and Everyone laughed. The ordered some food a little bit latter. "So Stormie are you playing any sports this year?" Andre asked. "Yea. I play lacrosse, indoor track and field hockey . So I'll be playing sports all school year. How about you guys. Or is it just football and cheer. "I was going to try lacrosse actually in the spring since football is the fall." Indigo said. "Yay maybe we can play together!" Stormie smiled. "I'm playing football and basketball." Zay said. "Cheer is all year round plus I do it outside of school now and take gymnastics and dance classes." "That's a lot of stuff Ciniya." Stormie said everyone eles agreed. "Yes but i want to be the best so i try really hard." "That's my girl. I'm doing football and wrestling." Zach said. "Football and wrestling too." Shane added "I'm doing football and track. Spring and winter." Andre said. "Wow, you guys make me look like I do nothing. I just play football." Troy said. "Well you are one of the top players in our area. Maybe you could try tennis or lacrosse." "Yea I could try lacrosse. That maybe cool." Just then their food came. They dug in and kept talking Getting to know more about Stormie. Everyone liked her. "I just have to say it. Your style is so cool!!" Ciniya said. "Oh thanks." "The color is really cool too." Andre said looking at her hair. "Yea. Your makeup technique is really nice too." "Thanks Guys y'all are so nice." "Troy I swear if you take another one of my French fries Im going to hurt you." Indigo yelled. "Oh I'm sorry I thought this was my plate." He said looking down giving her some of his fries. "It's okay." She laughed a pushed him with her shoulder. "Y'all want to play a card game?" Zay asked. "Y'all sure you guys want to face the uno master?" Indigo said. "I think you mean me ?" Stormie said. "Oh it's so on. Pull out the cards." Indigo said and Troy grabbed the cards from upstairs. They played 5 rounds Indigo had won 4 of theme "boom what did I tell y'all ." Indigo said. "Okay okay Im just getting started." Stormie said who had only won one round. They all laughed. "I'll I know is that if Indigo puts another draw for on me we are going to have problems." Troy said laughing. "Hey guys do you mind if we got? I just want to spend some alone time with Zach." Cinya asked. "Yea. Have fun!" They played more rounds of the game. Indigo ended up winning most of games Stormie was kinda salty but was all for fun. To end the night Stormie and Indigo went in the kitchen to get a smoothie "your parents are on the way." Stormie said. Just then Troy came in. "Hey Indigo." "I need to get my stuff I'll be back." Stormie said winking at Troy. "Hey Troy what's up." She said walking out the door heading to the front. "You seems different." Troy said. "Is different okay?" "Yea. You just seem more confident and stuff I don't know. Your styles a little different and you actually wear you hair down. It looks nice." Troy said looking mostly and the floor and blushing. Indigo blushed to. "So I was um thinking that maybe Um we could Um hang out sometime." He said nervously and his face was red. "Like the two of us?" "Um Yea i really like you. And I um have for a long time. Since the Um day you gave me the um water cup at football." "I like going to the movies. Just so you know I like you too. For some weeks now. But i had a crush on you for a little but when you would stand up for me during football season." "So Um Friday?" "Friday. Incredibles 2 is out. I know you like Disney." "That's um great." She was now nervous. They kept looking at each other and blushing hard. "Indigo your parents are here!" Stormie said. "Okay coming! See you Friday Troy." She smiled and went to the car.

    Troy walked back over to the table where Zay, Andre and Shane. He was very red and had a huge smile on his face. "Troy you good?" Andre said. "I'm fine." He said very happy. "Okay okay i can't tell you guys till I tell Jazzy." "What you need to tell me ?" Jazzy said coming out of nowhere. "Where did you come from ?" "I was in the kitchen. What do you want to tell me ?" "Okay guys. I finally asked Indigo out a She said yes." Troy screamed and was smiling even harder. "Yesss Troy I'm all happy for you !!" Jazzy said hugging him. "Thank god." Zay and Andre said. "Thank god cuz I was about to ask you for her. She's liked you for a couple of weeks but she didn't know herself." "Where y'all going." Jazzy asked. "Her parents are going to take us to the movies I think." "Just be careful her dads over protective." Zay said. "Okay thanks." "Okay so did y'all kiss ?" Andre asked. "No." "Kiss cheek ?" "No." "Hug." "No." "High five ?!" "No." "Y'all have some work to do." Andre laughed.

    Dinner at Indigos
Her parents had ordered Chinese food. Indigo didn't say much but was smiling. "Um mom or das can you take me to the movies?" Indigo finally said. "With who. When." Her dad replied. "Friday. Okay so Um Troy Kinds asked me on a date so like um I said yes and yes." Indigo said nervously. "Troy asked you out!!! Finally it's been 10 months!!" Her mom said. "He's liked me that long?" "Yea I don't know how you didn't notice." Her dad laughed. "I'm so happy for you. He's a nice guy. You don't let many of those." Stormie said. "One of us will take you." Her mom said.

   After dinner her she and Stormie talked about the how he asked her out and everything. Then talked about everything and anything. Just then she got a text from Troy. "Ooo your boyfriends texting you." Indigo didn't say anything but smiled.
  
   Troy: hey glad your parents are okay with it :) mine are too. Can't wait for Friday. Talk to you soon good night 🌙

    "Aww.that cute." Stormie said. Indigo kept blushing. "If you couldn't tell you blushing mad hard. Your really like him don't you." "I think I really do!!" Indigo smiled. They talked more about school and summer plans and Paris until they feel asleep.
