One for the team

Game Day

Everyone from around town came to see  the team Play. The team put on their uniforms and went on the field. But first they went to see their friends and family. 

"We're so proud of you . You have lead this team for the past couple of weeks and you have done a bang up job!!" Indigos dad said. "We love you and do a great job." He dad said. "Love you guys thanks bye." She said.

"Zach your going to do a great job love you ." Cinya said giving him a hug. "Super proud son." His dad said.

All the parents said told their kids how proud their are of them.

"Hey Troy can I talk to you ?" Indigo said. "Yeah." He said. "Wait never mind good luck." "Wait ." He grabbed her hand . "What ever happens today you have done great . We wouldn't have made it with out you . Thanks ." "Thanks." "Indigo I I never mind." "Are you sure you don't have to tell me something ." "I think where going to win." Troy said giving her a high five . "Yes we got this !!" Indigo said .

They all got on the field and the music started playing. And both teams came out. The all got in a huddle. "This is our last game ! We go to high school next year and it's going to be tough. It's going to take hard work for this game because they are a good team. This would be great for us if we win! No matter what you guys are an amazing team and I'm glad to have lead you for the last couple of weeks. Now let's go win this thing . Ready and break." Indigo said .

The marched out on the field and went to play . "Ready Set Hike!!" They team was doing well they used all the moves that Cinya and Indigo taught them that week."

The score was tied right before half time. Troy through the ball to Indigo. She had already made 2 touchdowns that day could see make another one ? She ran down the field with the ball jumping over and around people the crowd was making lots of noice. She was almost their. Jeff and Brad weren't having it . They ran and both ran and tackled her at the same time. She fell to the ground.

Indigos Pov: I was running and next thing I felt was too guys hit me at the same time. All I heard was "Theirs no place for you in football !" As I hit the ground. Then I heard the running of my team coming and blowing of a whistle . All I felt was them coming and then hitting me in my head.

"OH MY GOD !!" Chris said. Indigo was on the floor. Shane feel on the ground and lifted her body in his arm. Troy was holding her hand to feel a pulse . "She's breathing but not moving. I NEED WATER WATER RIGHT NOW." Troy said with a yell . "Indigo this was my fault I'm so sorry . The crowd was waiting to see her respond. Andre and Zay came back with some water. "Is she okay!" The whole asked. "Zay give her water . The médicas are coming." Troy said. "Okay ." Zay said. "It's going to be okay ." Troy said talking off her helmet. She took a sip of the water .
A few seconds latter she started moving .

"You guys thought you lost me . Naw I'm still here ." The whole team cheered and hugged her . They helped her back up and walked her to the sidelines . The whole crowd cheered know that she was okay and that she was moving . They had to check to see if she was clear to play first . She went to the back during halftime.

As she was getting cleared the team anxiously waited for her . She came out and was ready to play .

"Guys we need to beating them we need to do that it's important. We need to show them who's boss you ready ?! Ready and break !"

They came out tougher stronger and harder. Indigo throw the ball and Zay who did a leap and made a touch down . Then Troy and Shane did the same move and turn and made touchdowns too. Troy made 3 touchdown too. It was the last final seconds of the game . Troy throw the ball it made 3 loops in the air . Indigo jumped in the air and made a leap. She ran and slid she doged the people . She was close to the goal she saw two guys coming after her and she ran faster and then

The timer went off and the crowed cheered she jumped in the air and ran to the team . "Guys we won we won !!!!!!!!" Cinya came down from the bench and hugged Indigo . Then she and Zach kissed . Troy ran up to Indigo and picked her up and spined her in the air . "You did it you really did we won the finals !!!!!" "No we did it !!" She gave him a hug. Everyone was cheering and yelling. Troy put her on his shoulder and the whole team cheered saying We're number one were number one !!!!! Giving the team medals and her the trophy."

Troy carried her on his shoulder until the got too the parking lot. The loaded the bus and went back to the hotel . They packed their stuff and went back on the bus to drive home.

"You still have my sweatshirt on ?" "Yeah I hope you don't mind." She said sliding next to him on the bus. "No not at all . I thought we lost you and stuff I'm glad we didn't." "Me too . Im so tired it's been weird without school ." "Yeah it has you can go to sleep I won't talk you to death." Indigo drifted off too sleep 10 minutes later.
