Why Indigo

After Homecoming Troy was acting even more strange around Indigo. He dropped more passes and scored less points in the game.

Troy was so out of focus. During drills he would watch her throw the ball and even drink water. Trying to talk to her was even worst. He could barley make out a sentence.

The weather was getting colder  for that early November. Halloween had come and gone . Jack-o-lanterns had turn into pumpkins. Scary witches had turned into scarecrows. People were breaking out their winter coats and hats and putting on sweaters and jeans.

Indigo wasn't really used to all this cold before Christmas. But she was getting the hang of the Pittsburgh fall fashion. Jeans or leggings with riding boots a sweater and to top it off a scarf. Indigo didn't really like the fashion but she dealt with it.

Zay her ride or walking buddy was ready for her. "Where you riding boots ?" Zay said with laugh. She looked down at her outfit sneakers jeans and a sweatshirt. A normal look for her. "You try walking almost a mile in those shoes!" Indigo said joking with him. She tried with the boots earlier that week but they hurt her feet like crazy .

They talked the rest of the way to school .

[She decide to talk to Troy today maybe he was sick. She walked to his locker and waited for him . They hadn't talked much since the dance.

"Hey Troy ." Indigo said with a bright smile . "Uh um hi." He said back nervously . "Are you feeling okay you seem a little sick ." "Um yeah fine gotta go." Troy said and ran down the hall .

[hes definitely not okay.]

She went to homeroom and sat next to Shane. Who looked a little bit to happy for it to be 7:50 on a Wednesday.

"Shane you okay ? You look a little too happy ." "We are having a Thanksgiving Play !" Troy said . Besides football Shane was an amazing actor. "That's great! I hope you get a lead roll. This may help me like Thanksgiving a little bit more. " Thanksgiving was her least favorite holiday. Moving around so much didn't help . Thanksgiving dinners were just her mom dad and her.  "Yeah maybe your family will come over to my house for thanksgiving this year." "Yeah I hope we do it's really boring at mine." Shane and Indigo were practically cousins their parents had been friends for years which helped them into becoming friends too .

The class started and they began their work. They had a project due before the holiday started. Just get another way to ruin the holiday . The entire class period she felt eyes on her. Like some one was watching her. She finally looked up and saw Troy staring at her !

[Is their something on my shirt ? Does my hair looks bad ? Did I hit him or something?] indigo was really confused so she went back to her project.

They whole Day Troy didn't say anything but just stare at her.  Not often but periodically though out the day. Maybe she shouldn't have asked him if he was okay.

Football practice wasn't any better he stayed missing blocks and passes.  It was the last week until the season was over and she didn't want it to be ruined for anyone.

After practice she looked for him.

"Troy , tomorrow after school do you wana hang out at the coffee shop ?" Indigo said nervously. "Um yeah sure ! I'll have to go home first but my sister could pick you up with me.

The next day she decided that she would look a little different. She put her curly hair in a long ponytail , added a blue sweater with black leggings and small black ankle boots. 

I think this looks good . I don't even know why I'm dressed up . Let me look on the calandra. Oh I'm seeing Troy today . My mom laid this out ? I'm so lost. Well I have to go so I don't know.  Indigo thought to herself

Zay and shane came and picked her up early that day.

"Ooooo where you going today ." Shane said with a laugh. "To school ovi!" Indigo said . "No she gonna see Troy this afternoon!!" Zay said . "Oo do you like himmmmmm!" Shane said . "No !" Indigo said sharp and quick. "Then why you meeting him." They asked. "Because I'm trying to see if he's okay !" "Okay ! Calm Down . Okay !" Zay said . "Okay ." Shane said.

Troy meet them at the door . He was also dressed up nicer than normal.

"Um hey TTroy!" Indigo said nervously. "Hey indigo you look good." Troy said . "uh m thank you ." Indigo said turning  a little red. "You want me to walk you to class." Troy ask.
"Yeah sure i gotta ask you a couple of questions . About the project." She said looking at Shane and Zay ."Yeah llleettttts go." Troy said nervously.

They walked to class , Indigo stopped being so nervous and Troy became nervous. The day went on normal and at the end of the day she got in the car with him and his sister. "Hey Indigo how are you." His sister said . "Hey how are you ?" Indigo said sliding in the back seat and Troy slides besides her. "Troy , you don't wana sit up front you always like too!" Troy turned red. "Um um ah ." Troy couldn't make out a word. "Go ahead sit up their im fine." Indigo said. He climbed up their with out saying a word .

When they got to the cafe the sat down and looked at each other . "Okay so this is kinda weird. Ima let y'all talk" his sister left the building and jumped in her car .

"Okay so I just wana know what's up . You have   been a little strange lately ." "You know weathers changing football seasons over stuff like that." "Okay you sure ?" "Yeah is that why you asked me here ." "Yeah and for something eles ." "What ?!" "So um never mind it's kinda personal." "No go ahead I won't tell anyone. " "okay so who are you asking to the Winter Dance ." "Oh um I don't know I'm not even sure I'm going ." " Okay ! I don't either dances aren't really my thing . Which is kinda werid since I do dance." They both laughed at that . "So what you wana do now ?" They both said at the same time. "You wana work on the project at my house ?" Troy asked . "Sure."

They walked to his house and worked on the project for about and house.

"Thanks for today it was pretty fun !" Indigo said."yeah see at school tomorrow." "K bye ." "Bye."

Her smiles is so cute her thought to himself
