"Hurry now. Don't want to be late on your first day do we?"My mom said as she past my bedroom, getting ready herself. I hurriedly checked my list from the letter from Hogwarts, being sure I have everything secure and ready to go. Satisfied and eager, I rushed down the stairs. "Ready?" She smiled showing the years of her smiles on her cheeks. Her her straight blonde hair falling loosly at her shoulders and those brown eyes I seemed to have grown to love, as they were my own too. I couldn't help but smile back. "I've never been more ready in my entire life!"

"Got you something."

"Mom I said no gifts-"

"Well, you know me. Now go look in the kitchen. I'll take this." Mom took my suitcase, smiling and shutting the front door with a click. Classic mom.

Sighing, I crossed the dinning room then the living room. I stopped for a moment looking at a picture of my moms last family picture of Tom, my older brother. He was banished from Hogwarts and the wizard world. He now goes to the wizard world, illegally. He is the reason I'm transferring schools. I was getting made fun of and no one had the guts to become friends with...me. Though I blamed him for the dread of the everyday pain for three years,  I realize that it wasn't his fault. He just cant fit in with the rest of society. Just like me.

A honk from my moms convertible pushed me out of my thoughts. I refocused on the door in front of me. Ugh, now I'm all out of it. So much feelings swirling around.

I held my breath,  opened the door to find an barn owl in a square cage. It was just a little baby! "You're so cute!!" I squeaked, skipping to the island and smiling brightly. It screeched, getting closer to me in the cage, as if it knew me. "You. Are. Adorable!!!" I said petting it's nose with my pointer finger. I grabbed the handle carefully and held it close to me as I made my way to the car.

The train station was packed and my mom had left me to it only a few minutes ago. I glanced at my ticket, trying to avoid crazy looks from other people. Probably looking at my owl that I still haven't named yet. I'm starting to sweat from the attention so I read the ticket;
Kings Cross Train Station
Platform nine and three-quarters
September First
Eleven o'clock
# 66649502

What's the number for? Maybe it's the number of students coming to this school? Why am I asking myself stupid questions? Grunting, I stared at the wall that separates platform nine and ten. I see no nine and three quarters. "Hey, are you going too?"

I turn around to see a pair of dark, forest green eyes and beaten up glasses. I eye him warily, unsure if he were a muggle until my eyes reached his luggage and an owl like mine except his is snow white and grown. I immediately shook my head yes. He smiled. "It's my first year too. I have no idea where the platform is if that's what your wondering." He said, straightening his glasses on top of his nose. I went to say something back when a bundle of red headed people swept in front of us saying, "Stupid train station-muggles...horrid!"

I looked at him my eyes darting from us to the red heads over by the wall. He nodded and motioned for me to follow him. Moving slowly, we followed them. They stopped right between platform nine and ten. I got a little closer to them to hear. The woman gently led one of the taller boys away from the wall. "George you go first."

"but I'm Fred."

"Sorry Fred-"

"I'm just pulling your leg. I'm really George." She tries not to smile as he runs to the wall and disappears suddenly. How in the world-?

Fred goes next. He disappears. "How are they doing that?" I whisper to the boy beside me. He gives me an I-don't-know-look and tears his gaze to the last boy to find the woman walking towards them. "Are you two going to Hogwarts?"

I nodded my head yes, as did he. "It's Ron's first time too. Come along. I'll show you. All you have to do is not be afraid of going through the wall. And you have to run at it too. Hurry now, go before Ron." I positioned myself straight across from the wall, looking back behind me. Sighing, I ran to the wall. I hit it and fell straight on my butt. "Ouch." I could feel the pain going up my leg, probably a little scratched. She helped me up. "Here boy you go first." The green eyed boy did the same except he went through the wall. "Ok, just believe you can go through the wall. If you don't get through then..." I didn't even want to hear the next sentence so I ran. I shut my eyes as I went through the wall. Opened them and did a little dance. Ha! If Tom did that he would go falling down each and every time! I straightened myself out. Wow. That cut is really starting to hurt. "You do know you could get many diseases if you don't cover that up?" I turned around and a girl with brown curly hair and brownish green eyes stood. "I-I-I fell."

"Took a pretty hard fall. It's going to need stitches. C'Mon. I'll do it myself."

The train was amazingly nicer than anything I've seen. The girl led me to where she was sitting and patched it up using some spell I couldn't catch. "Done! Just be easy on the leg. I don't have enough room for you bit there's a space two rooms from here. Oh, and I'm Hermione Granger."

"Audrey Riddle." I gave her smile and a small goodbye before leaving with my trunks to the room she suggested I look for a spot. I opened the door. Ron and the boy with the glasses sat at opposite of eachoher. "Could I sit in here with you guys?"

Ron nodded his head after what seemed a century. I quickly sat down, my leg killing me from standing too long. "I'm Harry." The dark headed boy said.

"I'm Ron. Who are you?"

"I'm Audrey."
