When You Read A Letter From Ron

I put my bag in my locker and take my books with me to my next class, potions.

I haven't gotten anymore letters from Harry or Hermione but I've received one everyday from Ron. He would tell me about his day and how everyone else is doing and wishing I would return. I want to go back. But not for Harry or Hermione. Just for Ron.

It's only been a month into this new school and I've gained only a couple of friends and a lot of enemies. One of my many enemies is Jasmine Lockheart. She is a soccer player(a popular sport for muggles. I didn't know  this school had other sports than Quidditch!) for our school. I was playing a small match and I go to kick the ball, I get kicked in the shin and sent to the nurse. There's a scar there now. One of my friends is Amealia. She is very great friend and selfless to the max. She blends in the crowd so its hard to find her when she needs me or when I need her.

I haven't seen Thea in a while butI'm not complaining!

"Audrey! Your owl is out in the court yard!" Amealia shouts over the ramble of students. "Ok I'll go get it. Thanks Lea!" I shout back. I push my way though the crowd, all reading in different directions, different destinys.

I go into a hallway with no doors except for the one at the end of the hall. I start breathing heavily. I hate this hall, it always makes me claustrophobic. I reach the door and sigh with relief as the breeze whips my blonde curls off my shoulders. I look around and find Jared perched on the bird fountain. I take the letter off his leg and give him a piece of my pop tart.

Dear Audrey,

Today, Harry and I had made a mess in Snapes classroom...again. I'm in detention so I thought I should write a quick letter to you. Hermione has come down with the flu. Madame Mooch has made her stay at the infirmary for tonight. I hope she will be alright. Audrey, has Malfoy visited you? He hasn't been in school for maybe since you left. I know that will worry you but I thought you should know since I just now noticed it. Snape hasn't told me to do anything ot criticized me either. That, scares me. Hermione told me about Thea, I'm terribly sorry you ended up with a devil. I have to go. I'll be sure to send you more news if Harry comes out of his depression or if Hermione changes for the best.

Your friend,

Ron Weasley

I start to tear up. Depression?

Is he not eating? Is he ok? What did happen to Draco? My hair whips my face and my eyes water more.

Flustered, I look up. The clouds are dark. Must be a storm. I run inside, with difficulty, with Jared following. I stuff the letter in my jean pocket. The windows were having trouble staying in their place, clattering against the cement wall. I hurry down the hall and into the lunch room. I'm supposed to be in Potions with Mistress Waters but I feel like I should be right here. So I sit at my usual table, round and blue with carvings all over the table and gum underneath covering every inch. I made the mistake of finding the dried gum the first day. The wind blows harder against the panes shattering and landing only feet away. My heart beats faster than it did before. I get up, race across the room, and go inside the front office back door. I hear screams come from the cafeteria and further down the corridor. I pull my wand out, a spell ready in mind. I run to the office.

Everyone is laying on the ground, their necks bent at odd angles and their wands in a small pile near the wall. I shiver holding my breath as I step over the bodies to the front of the room. I step on an elders hand and she groans...but she never makes the move to sit up. Oh no. What if this happens to Hogwarts? What if Ron or anyone else gets hurt?

What if you actually move your feet? Then maybe you could find out later! My conscience screams as I tear my gaze from the woman, to the glass shards making their way towards my head. I fall to the ground almost regretting it as a pain sprang up my elbow. "Hurry now!" I hear Mr. Skim shout, a for slams. "Hey! Mr. Skim!" I scream. I stand up cradling my elbow and running to where I thought I heard him shout. There's a door sure enough, but it closed. I yank on the knob with my good hand. It doesn't budge. I dash to the kitchen in the cafeteria. I whip open the door and slide in the hot and stuffy kitchen.

"Find her and bring her to me alive." I hear Thea say, scary close to the kitchen. I hold my breath as she continues. "My dear sister needs to be here somewhere, since she's too stupid to be in class. Poor dear, doesn't even know she never seeing her friends again." I could hear the evil smile in her voice. Clenching my teeth and heard her steps fade down the hallway and outside. I look around for a hiding place. There is nothing big enough for me to hide in unless I crouch, and that will be worth it. I quickly move to the cabinet under a plain counter top with kitchen essentials and a few cans of corn. I squeeze inside, close the door with a little room so I can see, and await to found. I still have my wand. Maybe if they find me, I can blast them. Maybe.
