Staircases

I wake up in the hospital wing, the sunlight hurt my eyes. My cuts had been given bandages and my eye was covered with a large bandage the wrapped around my head. I start to panic. What did she do to my eye!? I wasn't hit that badly was I?

"That was some staircase you fell down off of Miss Riddle." Madame Mooch had come into the room holding more bandages. Staircase?

"How did I get here?" I ask sitting up as she sat in the chair beside my bed. "Draco Malfoy had found you unconscious on the staircase at the bottom. You must have fell at least five flights. You don't remember?"

"Draco?"

she nods slowly. She replaces the bandages on my stomach and then on my ankle. She sighs and scoots her chair closer looking at my eye. "This going to hurt a lot. I suggest you just hold still until it's over."

I nod my head and breathe slowly in and out. I feel the bandage being unwrapped slowly from my eye. It stings like a bee was pierced right through it. The bandages were bloody once they were off. All I could see was darkness in my left eye. "Have you taken them off yet?" My voice cracked.

"Yes dear. I'm very sorry about your eye. It's not reversible."

Her sympathy wasn't very comforting.

"No. I can't...no."

"I'm sorry dear. I didn't know stair cases could be so dangerous. Well,"

Madame Mooch stood up. "I'm going to let a few vistiors visit. That OK?"

I shook my head no.

No one can see me like this. No one can know what happened for a while. Not until I can cope with this eye. I might not ever be able to play qudditch now. "Not until I'm better."

Draco's Point Of View

I can't beileve that Pansy would do such a thing. I told her to never touch Audrey, or else she would face the consequences. I push open the door to the Slytherin common room and see Pansy sitting on the sofa, reading a book. "Pansy!" I shout. She jumps and closes the book, a smile on her face. "You scared me Drake." She stands making her robes flop by her side. "Don't call me that. You really messed up this time." I took out my wand. Her eyes grow wide. "Drake I didn't do it! I promise you!"

"For the love of Merlin enough lies! You hurt Audrey now you're going to pay!"

I raise my wand and point it at her head, she starts screaming. "You know what you did! You should have never messed with her! Exspell-"

My wand was blown from my hand, leaving a burn. I turn to see who it was.

Bloody Victoria Black.

She's a second year like me except she's way stronger. I haven't seen her for two years, when I had become dark. Her hair is a deep blood red and her eyes are violet. Their violet because she was attacked by a rare species of dragon. While attacking it, its blood fell upon her skin and she inherited dragon magic. She's un human going around Hogwarts, but no one messes with her because of it. Dragon magic is really powerful.

"What's the big deal, Black?" I whine.

"You shouldn't cause trouble you cant control dear Malfoy." Her red hair waves as she walks towards us. Her smirk makes me want to punch her.

"She deserves it!"

"Audrey was in the way of us I had to!"

"Quit your crying! You're giving me a headache." She rubs her temple and straightens her skirt. Pansy sits on the couch. Victoria leans against the wall, sighing. "Pansy, you let some girl get in your way?" She clicks her tounge in dissapointment. "I gave her something else to think about rather then my Drake."
