"Ron!" I shriek as he comes through the doors of Hogwarts. I jump in his arms, causing him to drop his suitcase. "Hey there spider monkey!" He says laughing as I pull away and giggle. "It's just been lonely here." He smiled. "You're so skinny! Do they even feed you?"
I nod my head yes. Ron shook his head at me. "C'mon, Ron! I have to show you something." I say grabbing his hand and pulling him to the Great Hall.
"You lived here? For the whole summer?" He says sitting down on the bed. "Yep. It was dreadful. I'm pretty sure I have more knowledge than Hermione does at this point."
He wanders around my room, poking and prodding at papers and books scattered across my little night stand. Then he sees the drawing of my tree on the wall. "Bloody dragons, Audrey. Did you draw this?"
I nod yes and smile.
"It's amazing." He wipes his fingers over the drawing.
"Thanks. So how's everyone at the burrow?" I sit on my bed and cross my legs. He leans against the wall still looking at the tree. "They're alright. Ginny fancies Harry is the worst news I've had all summer."
My eyes grow big. "What?!"
His face grows red and he looks down at his hands. "Nothing."
"Ron!"
"Ok, Harry likes Ginny...my little sister. And she fancies him..."
My face grows solemn. "For how long?"
Ron shrugs his shoulders. "Harry told me only this morning. He says he's liked her for a few months now. I'm really sorry, Audrey. He said he didn't want to tell you."
I lowered my head. "So he gave me crap about me leaving when he was really falling for her." I begin.
"That's great, Ron." I say. He sighs and sits next to me on the bed. "I'm sorry-"
"You're not the one who should be sorry." I bring my knees up to my chest and hug them. Ron glances out the window. "You know," he says quietly.
"Yes?"
"I saw Draco walk the halls today and he told me something very interesting." My cheeks glow red. "You saw him?"
"Don't play dumb." He says smiling evilly at me. I bury my face in my arms so I wouldn't see him. He pokes my sides and I let go of my knees, my legs dangle beside the bed. I look up at him with my cheeks burning. "You love him." His face softens as he says it. I nod my head, shocking myself. Do I love him?
"Ron, I'm only twelve." I laugh. "There's no such thing as love when you're as young as I. Just petty school girl crushes and friendships."
"No you're old enough to know what's best for you." He says lifting my chin to look him dead straight in the eye.
"What's that supposed to mean?" I whisper.
"It means that Draco is bad for you. I don't want to see you get hurt." My mood darkens and I stand up. I look at him. His expression is dead serious. "Draco hasn't hurt me like Harry has, Ron. Draco has been there for me, thick and thin. You encouraged me to be with him when he was gone, but now you've changed your mind?"
"This will be dangerous." He spits.
"Draco isn't dangerous-"
"I beg to differ, Audrey! He's a death eater! He will hurt you when he gets the chance!" He shouts, standing.
I flinch a little but regain my composure. I haven't heard him yell before. "Where's your bloody proof?!" I shout back. He groans and pushes past me to his suitcase, ripping it open. He pulls out a moving picture of Draco in the boys dorm. I know because Ron's made me go up there, it's terrible. Draco pulls up his sleeve, his expression scrunched up in pain. There it is.
"Why would you film this?"
"I need to protect you."
"You're not my mother, Ronald. I prefer you don't try to ruin my life just because your love is dead!"
Ron stiffens, remembering the death of Althea Spencer. I hit a nerve...yikes.
"Audrey you will never know how it feels to have your friends taken away from you! You won't ever know how it feels to be hated, unless you date Draco!"
"Are you jealous? Is that it, Ron? Is that why you're acting so childish?" I whisper angrily.
"Why would I be jealous of a blonde traitor?"
"Because he has my heart and always will. Get out, Ron." I whisper crossing my arms and looking down at my shoes. He steps in front of me. "I just want to make sure you won't get hurt again."
"Get out. "

I set the last of my clothes into my dresser back in the girls dormitory. People would be arriving any moment and I dreaded the moment they did. I hope they got stuck on the train or something.
"Audrey!" A high voice screams as I hear a thud and a clatter as she pulled me into a hug. "Hey..." What's this girls name? "you!" Her name is You now.
"Don't you remember? I'm Zente?" Her brunette curls bounced as she spoke. "Zente?"
She rolls her eyes and smiles. "Look, I did my part so pay up."
"What?"
"You know the...oh. Aren't you Audrey?" She asks, her smile disappeared.
I looked down awkwardly at my hands. "Yep."
She backs away. "I thought for sure you were..." She trails off. "That I was Althea?"
"Precisely. Where is she?"
"She's dead." I tell her softly.
"No. I was just speaking to her yesterday."
