"Look, there."
"Where?"
"Did you see his scar?"
"Yeah, he's the one who defeated Voldemort."
Hearing whispers about Harry, who I was walking with to my first class, followed us as we tried to find the Great Hall for breakfast. I felt bad for him, and sometimes I want to tell the people to just shut their mouths. We rounded a corner and smelt the heavenly food coming from the large doors just to the right. I sat down beside Hermione and Harry, Ron across from me.
"Hey, Harry."
Harry turned his gaze to me and nodded. "Do you want to play wizards chess with me later?"
He perked up. "Wizards chess?"
I giggled. "Yeah, it's like muggles chess except way more exciting and interesting. So you up for it?"
"Love to."

"What have we got today?"
"Double Potions with the Slytherins," I replied. Ron cleared his throat. "Snape's Head of Slytherin House. They say he always favors them - we'll be able to see if that's true."
"Wish McGonagall favored us." Harry grumbled sticking his fork into his pancakes and taking a bite. I took a bite of my toast I had smothered in grape jelly, my favorite, when the owls came swooping in looking for their owners. I searched for my Jared (what I decided to name him), worrying about his wings. He is still a bit small and his wings are still developing. I finally catch a glimpse of him and almost jump up. "Over here, Jared!" I called through the loud talking. It instantly stopped and headed over to my direction, it almost looked like it was crying. It dropped a letter on my toast and landed on my shoulder and I fed it a bit of toast before he flew off. I opened the letter:
Dear Audrey,
There have been terrible news.I would lie to you right now but I've had enough of that and you know me better. You remember your older brother? He...he's in the forest. The forbidden forest. Right beside school. He wants you. Oh hunny! He wants to kill you! You must come home, I don't want you to die! Don't even write back, just take the ticket and go home!
Love, Mom
I stared at the paper for a moment. I took my wand out and mumbled a few words and it caught on fire. The ticket was taped to the inside of the envelope I stuck it in my robe pocket. I got up, glancing at the bewildered looks on Ron's, Harry's, and Hermione's face. "I'll tell you during free time." Hermione nodded and stood beside me and walked to our class, Herbology.

I sped to the griffindor tower, Malfoy is unbelievably horrid in so many different ways! How he knows about my personal life, I'll never know. What he'll do with that information? Make the rest of the year a living ice cap. I got to the painting. "Password?"
"Pig snout." She nodded and the frame went open and I walked inside, the door closing behind me. I find no one here except for Ron. "They couldn't make it here. Hermione got hurt during the broom practice and Harry is going to see Wood."
"I-I can't tell just one. I have three friends." I sighed nervously. I've never been open to anyone about anything before, so it will just have to wait. "Oh my. We have Snape next Ron!! C'mon we're going to be late!" I keep my head down my cheeks flushing with embarrassment as I grabbed his hand and led him to the classroom.
We got there just in time and quickly sat down.
He started with role call and stopped at my name. "Riddle is it?"
I nodded my head. "I'll see you after class." He gazed over his paper at me. "Yes sir."
"Harry Potter, our new celebrity." Draco and his friends Crabbe and Goyle snickered. Oh, how I wish to learn something to hurt him. Or upset. Doesn't matter. "Potter!" Snape says all of a sudden, making everyone do a little bounce. "What would I get if I added powered root of aspholed to an infusion or wormwood?" I stretched little to see Harry's expression. He had no clue what he was talking about. Hermione's hand shot up after a minute. "I don't know sir."
"Fame clearly sin't everything." He began. "Try again. Where would you look if I told you to find a bezoar?" Malfoy started to laugh uncontrollably into his elbow. "I don't know sir. Hermione might know, try her." I laughed at this. I wrote sown what Snape had said the things were for and watched as he told other students to write what he said down. I started to draw, something I had stopped doing when Tom ran away. Oh crab, just reminded my self again. Nerved I look up for some inspiration or maybe boredom. I drew tracing the lines. Intercourse them together and then meeting together in different places on the paper. For the rest of class I did this and a moment or two I helped Marcus, my partner sitting beside me, figure out the mixture. "Want to come to Hadgrids with Ron and I? It's just for tea and-"
I covered my drawing quickly and turned to a nervous looking Harry. "Yep. I'll meet you there." He smiled and said a quick 'see you later' before leaving the classroom along witht the other students. He forgot all about the chess meeting. I see how much he feels for me now. OH crap. Forgot to tell him about the Tom thing. I gathered my quill and parchment and waited for Snape to talk. "It's very dangerous to go back home, Audrey. I know your mom is home worrying sick about you." He said softly. He came around his desk and leaned against a student desk. "You brother, he's here and you musn't go outside. Not until we are sure he is gone, or face death."
