*Five Months Later*

April

I wake up to Jareds sqawking and the smashing and the clanking of his cage. "Jared! I was having an amazing dream-" I whine. Then I see Harry's owl, Hedwig. How I remember it's Harry's is beyond my imagination. I thrash my covers off my legs and hop out of my bed and to the window. "Hedwig! How is everyone?" I say, tears building up. The sun shone bright through my window. I sniff and take the letter from his leg and sit on my bed. It reads:

Dear Audrey,

This is Hermione writing, we are worried sick about you! Where are you? Did Malfoy take you away and hide you? He had said you didn't want us in your life anymore and you broke up with Harry! Harry wouldn't believe anything Malfoy said and refused to take part in going with his words. What's happening to you? This is Ron, I swear if that blonde headed jerk did anything to you, I'll beat him to a pulp. Hope you are safe. This is Harry, Your the first girl I've ever really liked. I can't have you disappearing on me once I've just gotten you. We all want you back. Especially me.

Sincerely Your Best Friends, Hermione Granger

Ron Weasley

Harry Potter

By now my cheeks are red and my eyes are waterfalls. I don't want to let go of them. I never want to let go of my only friends. I fold the letter back into its creases and stick it under my pillow. I take my trunk out. I get my parchment and ink and quill out and start writing.

Dear Hermione, Ron, and Harry,

I am safe, I promise. Remember the wizard ancestry I have? It's dangerous for us to be friends. I don't want any of you to die. My powers react on my emotions...so if I were to get mad, you guys wouldn't see tomorrow. I miss you all a lot. I've never felt so cruel, leaving without saying goodbye. Look out the window when you get this letter, the rain represents my sadness, my tears. Harry, your really sweet. Your my first real boyfriend. I didn't want it to end like this -I wipe my running tear off ny cheek before they hit the ink- but I don't want you to get hurt. You will find your special girl, I am not her. I'm a bomb ready to explode at any moment. I hope you understand. I love you guys, even if you hate me.

Sincerely,

Audrey Riddle

They are going to hate me, loathe me. I can't...

I wipe my eyes with the back of my hand and tie the letter to Hedwig's leg. I lightly kiss his head and let him fly through the window.

"Audrey! Be ready in five minutes! The bus will be here."

Aunt Carmin sings from down the hallway.

"Ok!" I shout through the wall. I open my closet to get the uniform for Killon: School of witchcraft. It's actually sorta cute. A white blouse, a scirt that falls just above my knees, and dress shoes.

Once I'm dressed I open Jared's cage and he flys out. I sigh as the bus pulls up and honks. I grab my bag and run down the stairs and out the front door, following Beatrice. I step on the bus. It's full of all kinds of people talking, screaming, and some just reading. I mumble 'excuse me' as I step over some legs and bags. "Could I sit here?" I ask a brown headed guy. He looked at me as if he had been insulted. "Get lost." He waved me off, his piercing blue eyes staring into my plain brown eyes. I tore the gaze. Great, a jerk already. That took not as long to discover as it was at Hogwarts. "Hey, come sit here, Audrey!" I hear Beatrice shout from the back. I quickly walk back to her and she moves so I get the window. "Audrey, this is my boyfriend Liam. Liam, this is my cousin Audrey. She transferred from Hogwarts." I look up from my hands to see Liam, a tall and muscular guy sitting across from us.

I smile awkwardly as I shake his hand. "That's a smart school, right? I hear you guys never leave campus." I chuckle. "You guys don't? I mean, obviously...but why don't you?" I ask, I suddenly feel stupid and he wasn't helping by laughing in my face. "We aren't as...dedicated...as Hogwarts." He says as the bus stops to let another kid on. Beatrice rolls her eyes. "Don't be  mean, Liam."

"Hey Liam!" A boy shouts from a few seats up. The jerk. I roll my eyes this time and look out the window. I want to be with Harry, I want to be at Hogwarts. My eyes start to water and I squeeze my skirt's cloth to get rid of my emotions. Before I know, the clouds darken. Hmm, I control the weather with my emotions...interesting. I wonder what would happen if I got mad. I smile to myself. Something bad. I put my bag on my lap and take out a mirror that I had swiped from my mother's jewelry box. It could tell you where a person is, basically shows you a person that's on your mind. The mirror fogs for a moment and then clears with Harry in view. He's holding his head up with his right hand, showing his scar, reading the letter. His tears fall silently. I've never seen him cry before. He goes to crumple the letter into a ball, but decides to do something else. He gets up and screams into his pillow. Hermione and Ron appear by his side and he yells at them. Hermione yells back. "Audrey," Beatrice whispers in my ear. I shove the mirror back into my bag. I blink. She wipes away a tear on my cheek. "I don't think it's wise to watch over them while you can't have a relationship with them. It will only hurt you. I hate to see you hurt." Her eyes were filled with softness and understanding. Beatrice holds her hand out. "No. Bea, this is my only way to know they're OK." I choke out.

"Fine. But we have to go." She leads me off the empty bus and out into the winter air. I pull my coat on and zip my bag. She finds Liam and walks beside him. She lets go of me to hold his hand and then...she's gone. Lost in the crowd. "Beatrice?" I say trying to peak over the other students heads.

"Poor crying kitten lost it's way to mommy?" A mocking voice says. I turn around. It's that obnoxious jerk again. "No, but I think you lost your way to the brat school. I think it's two blocks down." I say calmly and walk in the direction of the school doors. I get pulled back by my hood of my coat and stumble towards the ground. I regain my balance. "Why can't you grow up?" I burst. I cross my arms. "You're cute when your mad."

He smirks. I roll my eyes and turn around once again, and head to the doors. The students were now filling inside. "Hey wait up." He says jogging behind me. "Go away."

"C'mon, kitten!"

"Kitten?" I turn around instantly and he almost falls on top of me. "Yeah, your new nickname."

"Oh, should I call you jerk? Or brat? Or my favorite, stalker?"

He sneers at me. "Just James and why stalker? I just met you!" He whines.

"'Cause you're following me?" I point out the obvious. I turn back around and end up the last one to be inside, besides James.

"Later Kitten." He says running down the hallway.

I wait for him to round the corner before kicking the wall out of frustration. I yelp. Holy dragons that hurt! I limp to the office and open the door, which was more heavy than it looked. I stand behind a woman as the door suddenly slams shut. "Thank you. Next." The older woman behind the window says. "Hello. New student?"

I nod my head yes. "Audrey Riddle...here is your schedule. You are not to be off campus for any reason unless with an adult. No running. And absolutely no PDA. Have a good day. Next." I'm given a piece of paper and shoved out the door. "Everyone here is so rude!" I hiss to no one in particular. I look at my schedule. at the top says, "Welcome to Killon: School of Witchcraft!"
