I 've had this sinking feeling since the kiss had happened. At dinner, I couldn't help but be completely silent, indulging in the tasty food. Xander looked me over many times while Dylan undressed me with his eyes, he wanted more and felt sick. I had a few bites before pulling my chair from under the table and leaving.

As of now, I regret it. I didn't eat enough and I was facing the consequences. My bare feet hit the carpeted floor below me. I threw the warm duvet off of me, feeling the cold hit my warm body. A sense of dread washed over me, forcing me to drown in it. I groaned loudly, slipping on some socks before noticing something under the bed. I got on my knees and reached under it, retrieving an old piece of paper with writing scribbled down in it.

Meet me under our tree near the old skatepark~

                                                                                    With malice,  F.B

I folded the paper and placed in the inside of a drawer. Proceeding, I sluggishly walked out of my room.  The dark and eerie corridor was illuminated by a singular light at the start of the hall. I could hear distant snoring coming from one of the rooms as I tip-toed down the stairs. I didn't know why I was walking so lightly, it just felt right. I wasn't quite sure where the kitchen was, I only had the faintest clue that it was located near the dining hall.

My stomach growled as I landed on the ground floor. Suddenly, the temperature dropped, the soft fall wind rose goosebumps on my bare skin. I hugged myself, wrapping my arms around my body as I proceeded to pass the dining hall.

"Where is it?" I whispered out loud, everything was quiet, too quiet for my comfort. The hall let out into a big opening, where I could see pots and pans along with a distant tint of the blue from a pool. I picked up the pace and made my way to the large kitchen.  The floor was wooden, with marble walls and one large chrome freezer/refrigerator combination. IOn the far left sat a large marble counter along with numerous wooden cabinets. Above the marble counter hung knives of different sizes and some pottery. Beside the entrance stood a large rack filled with seasonings and different types of oils.

I walked over to the refrigerator and opened it, scanning for the food of my choice. They had basic household things, however, you had to cook everything.

I see that they're too good for a bowl of Frosted Flakes, I thought.

On top of the counter sat a large clear jar. Inside, fresh baked cookies stacked on top of one another, reaching the top of the jar.

"Bingo," I said, growing excited. I didn't hesitate to quickly head over and pop off the lid. I took a chocolate-chip cookie and took a bite, blowing out a puff of air in relief. I kept indulging myself before a voice suddenly snapped me out of my food frenzy.

"Having a midnight snack?" a deep voice asked before I turned around with my face stuffed full of cookies. I rolled my eyes then proceeded to chew and swallow my diabetic meal.

"Since you're up now, I can tell you our plans," Xander said.

"Well, go on," I said, desperately needing some water. I walked over to the fridge and opened it, taking out a bottle of water. I opened it quickly as he began to explain the mission.

"You're going to be my date to a special business ball," he said slowly, making me almost spit out my water.

"You'll be going as Amelia Baxter. Our target,  Dominic Guerra, will be there dressed in a white suit and black suit with a black mask. He has a safe full of money that he stole from Stephan. Do whatever you need to in order to get that money," he told me as he handed me a ritual looking type knife.
