Oh, look, Adam!👆

*Ana's P.O.V*
*I'm going to refer to Xander as Fabian Colon and Analise as Amelia Colon.*
High heels, masks, exotic dancers, and all. It was a very open and large area with red and white draperies hanging around. Chandeliers and ominous lighting took refuge upon the painting-covered walls. There was an obscure amount of paintings and mirrors throughout the place, mostly beside grotesque sculptures. There were men and women walking around, serving the guest miniature appetizers and champagne. I tried my best to take in the large room and its luxuries, however, it was cut short by Fabian grabbing my hand. Kimberly, Stacy, and the others waltzed off to the bar before mingling. Fabian and I made sure to place on our mask before stepping out of the black van.
"Let's go," Fabian said, pulling me over to the bar. Stacy was a few bodies down from us as Fabian looked around.
"Amelia and Fabian! Are you here to get the usuals?" the bartender asked. We both nodded in sync as he turned to fill our glasses to the brim. I flashed him a quick smile, takin the glass and turning away from him. I and Fabian had a few sips before he bent over to give me a quick peck on my cheek. We stood there looking at the chatting and grazing bodies, seeing a man stare into my soul from the corner of my eye. He stood there, absolutely still, chatting with a beautiful female in her late thirties, watching me from the corner of his eyes. His blue orbs shone under the ominous light, making a chill run down my spine.
"Act normal and try not to get killed," Fabian snapped, looking over me briefly. before adding on, "especially dressed like that."
I couldn't help but smile at his remark, it made me feel warm inside but that was it was limited by the staring man approaching us. He was covered in indigo from head to toe, accompanied by a black mask with feathers. He held an empty glass in his hand before placing it on a tray passing by.
"I'm glad you received my dress, Amelia," He said before taking the wine cooler out of my hand and sipping it. Once he was finished sipping it he placed it on the counter behind me.
"Sorry to be so intrusive Fabian, is it okay if I take her for a dance?" He asked kindly, making me force myself to fake a smile.
"Very well," I heard him mutter. The mysterious man took my hand and dragged me onto the dance floor. The sea of individuals parted as everyone paid us their attention, not daring to move a muscle. The ominous lights were placed on the two of us, darkening the surrounding room. He slipped one arm around my waist firmly while taking my hand in his with the other.
We swayed gently and twirled, making me stand n the tips of my toes. Once I stopped spinning he picked me up, above him as time seemed to stop. He let me down, encouraging me to place one of my legs around his waist before he smirked. Even though this man was a complete stranger, he was a great dancer and I enjoyed it. My enjoyment for dance was long-buried with my lost love for Adam Stevenson.
"You're going great," he whispered in my ear softly before I unwrapped my leg from around his waist. He twirled me around again before moving across the ballroom. Surrounding people began to smile and grow antsy, wanting to dance alongside us. The music died down, making him stop, pressing me against his warm hard chest. I could feel the warmth radiating off of him as our eyes poured into each other. His were empty and cold, ancient light that once resided there had gone, vacating them.
"Amelia," he said into my ear as shivers went down my spine.
That voice sound too familiar..
"Amelia how about we give them a finishing act?" he requested softly.
Something about this guy seemed off, almost too invested in this character I am playing. WAs he one of her lovers? Was he an old friend or was he an abuser or stalker? Within minutes his lips were brushing against mine. His left hand tore away from mine as he cupped my cheek. His cold hand was placed there, looking deep into my soul before he brought his lips to mine.
He tasted familiar along with some of his mannerisms.
Once he pulled away he guided me over to the table where two glasses of wine sat. "Help yourself," he said, making me take notice of the ring on his hand. It had a single piece of moonstone in the center that reflected from the light. I also took notice of the Waterbridge accent he embodied. I glanced over at Xander talking to a guy with ginger hair and grey eyes. A big grin was plastered on both of their faces as he handed him something in a box.
"Here you go darling," the man said snapping me back in reality. I put on a fake smile and stared at him as he sipped his wine. I was able to catch a glimpse of a small arrow pointing left on his middle finger.
I stood there in shock as the glass slipped out of my grasp, hitting the ground and covering the floor. In slow motion, everyone turned to look in our direction, wondering what was taking place.
"NO!" I yelled into the man's face, feeling the panic in me rise.
"Well hello Analise," he said before I ran out of the building, forgetting about everything and everyone. I didn't care who was following me or where I was going, as long as I'm away from him. I ran down the streets of Waterbridge, ignoring the questioning faces of bystanders. My heart was going one million miles a minute. I felt someone pull my arm, yanking me into a dark alley. The person was very tall, reeking of perfume, and had bright red lipstick plastered on her face.
"You want to know how you failed at trying to be me?" The feminine voice said, hitting me in the face, knocking me on the ground.
"You're too short, you're unattractive, and you don't show enough skin!" She yelled, kicking me in my stomach. I fought the urge to heave, making the contents I just down ache to come back up.
I could hear approaching footsteps in the distance, "Analise!" the worried voice of Xander yelled.
"Just go to sleep, I'll handle your boyfriend," she said before clenching he fist and gitting me one last time.
Light's out.
Who do you guys think it is? ;)
